Not much change this month. I'll chalk it up to my mom, being sick, and just being basically all over the place nutrition-wise! My weight this month went from an all-time low of 131 back to 137 for today.
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 138 to 137
Chest: 37.0 to 36.5 (-.5)
Below Chest: 28.5 to 28.5 (same)
Stomach below belly button: 33.5 to 33.5 (same)
Waist at smallest: 26.5 to 26.5 (same)
Hips: 37 to 37 (same)
Thigh: 21 to 21 (same)
And only a few more days til your Mom goes home - how's she doing?
Day one of low-carb is going GREAT. Once I get going on it, it's smooth sailing! Had a protein/PB shake for breakfast (running late) and had my yummy beanless chili for lunch and some string cheese and for dinner we have shrimp on the menu.
Thanks for asking about my mom....I actually just got a call from the nursing home and they have moved up her release date to THURSDAY, which sucks for my scheduling purposes, but that's the day, so I've got to make it work somehow!! She's thrilled. I'm scared.

Glad to hear day one has been great!
WOW - guess your mom must be doing well if they moved her release date!
Nice reds Front squats are growing on me. It took me so long to get the bar balanced just right on my shoulders, but now I like how they hit my legs differently then back squats.
Jane - I think your pictures look amazing, too. I can definitely see a difference in your back and arms. From all you went through this month I would call it a success!
OMG, I felt like one of those Biggest Loser last chance workout people tonight. I did a class with my coach with three of us tonight. Let's see if I can remember everything.
- moving jumping jacks FIVE times up and back the length of the gym
- high skips up and back two times the length of the gym
- some sort of side to side shuffle up and back the length of the gym
- arm circles, arm swings, neck stretches
- spring 50% effort up and back the length of the gym
- rotational walking lunges up and back the length of the gym
- walking knee stretch up and back the length of the gym
- walking cradle stretch up and back the length of the gym
- sprint 75% up and back the length of the gym
- 10 groiners
- 10 thrusters
- on hands and knees -- knee out to side and down 10x each side, knee to chest then WAY back 10x each side
- lay on back with arms stretched to side and swing opposite leg to hand 10 x each side
- sprint 100% up and back length of the gym
Into weight room:
- Four sets of clean and jerks (the other 2 did lunges as they haven't learned these yet)
- Three rounds of the following: 10 horizontal pull-ups with 2second pause at the top, followed by 10 box jumps, followed by 10 static split squats -- three rounds, no rest.
-- Three rounds of the following: 10 push-ups going up and down on her call -- SLOW!, followed by 10 glute hamstring on the swiss ball
-- 1/4 mile as fast as I could go on the elliptical at level 7, immediately followed by 10 squat jumps.
I am dead. Oh, and did I mention that the other 2 girls were 28 years old!
Oh, and I got my GWF and that workout burned 303 calories -- felt like 1300!
Wow Jane, between the PRs in the one workout, and the second one .... definitely you're back at it hard. And you look great in both pictures, looking forward to seeing you you progress this month.
Oh, no....THEY were showing me, for sure!! At the very end, they were both cheering me on.....Go, Jane, you can do it! C'mon Jane, you've got it! Push! Push! You're strong, you can DO THIS!
LOL! I felt like one of those Biggest Loser people who finish last and their teammates go back to cheer them on!
Hey, at least I finished and I did it. Swear it was the hardest workout I've ever done.
I have been checking my tracking # and hope to get my GWF today....well at least I hope. Its says its in my city as of this morning I don't know where else it would go! How long did it take you to set up? If I get it at lunch time at work I would love to wear it to the gym tonight but would have to do that when I got home first.

Bree, I opened it up at probably 5:00pm and it was on my arm by 5:30pm! They say it needs fully charged, but when I plugged mine it, it was already charged.

It's nice they were cheering you on! Sometimes having that makes you push JUST a little harder!
Jane, I'm so impressed with how you keep pushing onward through all of the challenges life has been throwing at you lately! Your pics look great and I believe I see some more muscle in there -- very cool!
