You know how you feel like you got your butt MAJORLY kicked when you have an awesome workout and you just need to collapse? Well, that's how I feel after a day of work sitting on my butt. I am beat. I guess I should have expected it after not eating enough to sustain an ant for the last 4 days.
Going to watch my DVR'd espisodes of Lost from last night right now and hope I don't fall asleep.
Hope tomorrow I can begin coming back nutritionally and strength-wise.
Thanks for the puppy fix on the last page!!! And sorry you had to go through the bug. Good thing it was pretty quick at least. Make sure to eat a lot in the upcoming days.

How ya feeling today? And how's your Mom making out?
Hi Tracey.....I'm feeling MUCH better today! Yeah! My mom still feeling the effects of it...to be expected, I suppose. She has an appointment with the hip surgeon today so the nursing home is taking her to his office and my sister is meeting her there, so I'll get an update this afternoon. I'd say this stomach/flu/virus thing probably set her back a couple weeks, unfortunately. Hopefully, she'll get back to therapy and start improving again. Next step is to get her to the senior assessment/geriatric doc to get her meds evaluated and get her on something to help with the alzheimers. That's going to be a tough talk to have with my mom, and my sister and I plan to break it to her this weekend.
Have you seen the second season of the Tudors yet? Mine was supposed to come from Netflix yesterday but didn't
Ease back into everything and take care of yourself!
OMG, Bree, the 2nd season of the Tudors is unbelievable!!!! I'm anxiously awaiting the start of the 3rd season; though very sorry that the lovely Anne Boleyn will not be around.
Glad to hear that you're feeling better. I had to watch the recap for Lost with my mother (she's not as into it as I am), but haven't got around to watching the first two hours yet. That's on tap for the weekend.
Was it the major carbload at lunch today? Was is my reduced bodyweight from being sick? I don't know, but I'm surprised as shit that today I........drumroll......
DID MY FIRST UNASSISTED PULL-UP and CHINUP
One each, with a significant break between the two. But still. I did it.

Yay for the chinups, that is awesome!! Hope your mum feels better soon.
Which was easier by the way, the chinup or the pull up? Does the hand grip make a difference?

Chinups are way easier....which, I suppose, is why my coach has had me working on pullups all this time!
Yeah, chinups are way easier. I can get 4 assisted ones of those and a big fat zero when it comes to pullups with the same amount of assist. As in I didn't even budge! lol.
