Ohhhhh man Jane.....that's just not fair! At least the biggest loser is on tonight...so you have something to watch. You are watching right??? Did you see Bob's freakout last week???
Aww ... poor Mom, poor Violet ... POOR JANE!!!!

Me too again...well, hopefully you've enjoyed having the day (between being sick anyway...) to watch inauguration coverage? My cousin was in some sort of leadership of the Army Marching band and I watched forever, but never saw him...
I'm home sick in bed again today. This is one nasty virus. I did get to watch most of the inauguaration stuff yesterday, so that's the only bright spot. I may try to shower today and maybe eat a bit of something (though, that turns my stomach just thinking about it).
I just hate feeling so bad and it makes me feel that much worse for my mom because I don't know how she even survived this. And, now all of us are sick and can't go visit her. It's a bad situation!!
This must be a global thing as there's tons & tons of people being sick here too (here as in the NLs). My FIL got sick yesterday morning and my SO just happened to have visited him.. uh oh indeed.
Take your time to get better. Best wishes to your mom. Heard about the peanut butter infection too. It has happened before in the past.
Other nut concoctions are also very well possible, with almonds and pistachios being the tastiest. Almond milk would go down well I hope? How does she tolerate dairy products? Adding ice cream to protein/milk shakes is a good choice too, but requires cooperation from the nursus.
Is Almond Joy an actual bar in the US?
Keep taking care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon.

Well, I am showered and feeling a bit more human today. Still haven't been able to eat, though. Wow, what a rough couple of days!
For those asking (and for those who didn't! lol!) here's a Violet update. I should have named her Licky because all she wants to do is lick and give kisses! She's all better from her vaccine reaction and has been an angel since I've been sick.
Simba thinks me doing planks is time to flop down and get his head and neck scritched.
Yuck on you and your mom being sick
Yuck on Violet's Reaction to her shots

Glad you're starting to recover. That pic is precious. Our Coco (the brown one if you saw pics in my log) is a complete licker too - and every once in a while he manages to stick his tongue in one of our mouths (YUCK!!!). I love him, but not in that way

Uhhhh...you can love your pets....just don't LOOOOOVE your pets...
OK, so it's back to work today, despite having only injested about 1,000 calories over the last 3 days, by my estimation. So, going to try to power down a protein shake now and see how it goes. Feeling amazing weak (big surprise, huh), and stomach still shaky, but I am getting some color back to my face (or maybe it's the makeup). Hope I make it all day!! Thanks everyone for the well wishes! I keep thinking 2009 has GOT to be better, but this sure wasn't the way to kick it off.
Scale is at an all-time low (and not in a good way). On the other hand, it's probably why my new jeans fit.
