Then, I ended the night with pull-ups and I'm 90% there!!! ALMOST got one!!! Cute guy at the gym was watching and I think that gave me extra incentive to DO IT!
I think he's definitely regretting it Jane.

Agreed. I remember doing some of the core work for NROL4W outside in the summer, so the cats could get outside. Prone cobras with cats going under and over you are not so fun. Especially fur on you during hot summer days.
Oly lifting tonight with the coach and I rocked it! Yeah me!
I didn't feel like going. Shitty weather. Sore back. But, I thought about those Biggest Loser people and I couldn't NOT go!
Anyway, we worked on cleans all night and I did so good! I made her proud!! I feel so good tonight. We watched some videos together first and we worked on my tough spots and she had a few tricks up her sleeve to get me past them and it worked. So glad I went tonight!

HA! Well, I drug my feet and asked him out about a week too late. He had JUST started seeing someone. Said he was really flattered, though. However, I think he's keeping the door open (or at least I hope!) because we still talk all the time at the gym. If not, then at the very least, he's a new friend.
Well, hey Jill! I'd like to think so, but I know better.....I really did a little backslide with all the stress of the last few weeks. But, I'll work my way back up eventually! Just feels good to get back in the gym.
Well, yesterday was a crappy day, other than the workout!!
1. Went to see mom at the nursing home and she has a stomach virus and is SOOO sick. This is not what I wanted to see after I've ALMOST got her up to 90 lbs. I hope she gets over it soon because anything like this can just knock her down. I felt so bad for her!
2. Violet had a severe allergic reaction to her shots yesterday and I had to spend several hours at the emergency vet getting her treated. Poor little pup! Her eyes were all swollen and she had some sort of swelling/hives in her ears and couldn't stop shaking her head. So, FOUR shots later (making it a total of SIX shots yesterday) and she finally began to clear up. She was one whipped little girl. This morning she seems completely back to normal, but was pretty scary while it was happening.
I'm with you Jane, sick of the snow. I hope your mother recovers soon, and sorry Violet had a bad reaction to her shots. Is this the last of her immunizations, or the start? (I know the kittens had to have three, although one of them only ended up getting two.)
I am sooooooo sick of the snow too. It snowed here on Saturday and I'm like, WTF enough already!
Hope your Mom is feeling better! This is a total longshot, but did you see the recall on peanut butter products due to salmonella? I noticed it because my kid loves peanut butter, but the people predominantly being affected are in nursing homes, prisons and schools. The tainted product is used to make cakes, crackers, cookies, ice cream, etc. I'm sure it's just a stomach virus, but I thought I would mention it.
Jill, that is EXACTLY the first thing I thought of. We had just taken in a bunch of those Austin Cheese Peanut Butter sandwiches to my mom. She likes them, and it's a good way to boost her calories. I immediately told the nurse to get them out of her room once I heard about the PB scare and the recalls, and asked if she thought they caused her illness, but the nurse feels that it's just a "bug" that's going around, since so many (patients and workers) got it. But, I still wonder. My sister doesn't think so because she said everytime she visited, she had a couple crackers and she's fine. So, I guess I'll never know, but at least they have been tossed!
Hey Jane, sorry you had a rough day. I am so tired of the snow too! I went and shoveled yesterday afternoon as the sun was out and it was actually above zero! And then it snowed again last night. Super.
The whole peanut butter thing scares me. Mostly because are food supply seems to be getting worse and worse. You never know what is safe anymore.
UGH! What next?!?!?!? Now, I've caught this stomach virus from the nursing home, along with the rest of my family. I honestly can't remember ever being this sick. And, I just thinking of my mom going thru this and I don't know how such a frail person did it. I'm telling you, this thing is BRUTAL. Just gonna stay in bed today and HOPE for no more throwing up.
