Well, today went better than I had hoped. I was pleased with the nursing home and the staff and my mom seemed to be OK today (as opposed to yesterday, which was terrible). I'm hopeful that she'll adjust and make some progress here. Tomorrow will be my first day off from all visits. I really just need it.

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes. It means a lot to me.

So glad to hear that you are happy with the nursing home and the staff! That has got to be such a huge relief! And having your mom more accepting of it - that's AWESOME!! Hope your Dad is doing well!
