Hey Jane, what a lovely little gal you've got there. Enjoy your bonding time together. I took vacation time a couple of years ago when we got the kittens. It made a huge difference (as they're definitely my cats now).

Enjoy your new puppy. Violet is adorable. I think it's great that you're taking some time off work right now. I'm sorry about Sophy. It's heartbreaking to lose a dog I can't imagine losing one to a dog fight.

Well, the gym didn't happen yesterday. I have to go today. I've got my o-lifting tomorrow and I don't want to be coming off of several days of rest. It's just too much for me. So, off I will go today (after my ATT uverse is installed---yeah! I can finally dump Time-Warner!). But, this is how I REALLY feel after the last few days:

She's got the sweetest little face! I'm so happy for you! What a darling.

I've been meaning to let you know, I made the training treats from the site you sent over. Suzee loves them, and so does my bird! So, now they both get the same treats. I'm trying to decide which to make next.

Jane, Violet looks beyond sweet in all pics but the sleeping pic is just over the top. I hope you all get settled soon because I remember when Felix, our 2 year old lab, was a pup (at Christmas for us too!) he totally wore me out. It's worth it though.

OMG Jane! She is just too precious!! How big is she? It's hard to get perspective in the photos, but I imagine she is tiny ... like the size of a can of soda?!

Hey guys....will not be around much for a while. My mom fell and broke her hip today. Between the hospital and trying to find people to help with Violet, I am beyond stressed and busy! My mom has surgery tomorrow....send good vibes her way, please. Her falling was my worst fear, and my sister and I had SUCH a good day today with her, only to end it with this fall. I'm so sad for her!

Oh, no! I am so sorry. Did she slip outside on ice, by chance? I hope she gets through the surgery. You've got all my good vibes. I wish I were closer, because we would LOVE to take care of the baby, to help you out. Hang in there.
