Have you had your wrist checked out by a dr? Maybe Julie can help you with some "PT" (lol real pt) ideas. I have worked through injuries in the past and none have paid off they typically set me back further.
As much as I like WSFL, I just think that in order for me to push like I need to push during this program, I really need to be at 100% physically. Once I am, I really want to push through the 28 days and get it done with no pain.
Most of my HIIT and LISS will be done outside. When I do go to the gym, I will only do strength training that in no way uses my wrist.
You guys think this sounds reasonable?
Sounds smart to me. It's like fat loss and muscle gain at the same time - you could get there faster picking just one at a time, right? Fix the wrist, then do WSFL.

I just found out (or realized - duh!) that one of the kids I work with has bodpod access at UA. He said he would let me do it, so now I just have to pin down a time for him to let me in! It's summer session now, so the schedules / hours are totally erratic around that department... unfortunately...

Yes, I've been to the ortho and had xrays, got the splint, etc. I was supposed to take it easy and, of course, I really haven't. Next step is cortisone, which I really don't want.
I think your thoughts regarding your wrist are good. I would definitely lay low for a while with it. I don't think it will hurt your progress in the least. You are doing so well and it's better to let the wrist heal sooner rather than later :-)
I know I'm a little late with this...but HOLY AMAZING bikini pics!!!
As far as the wrist...I hope it feels better...it's always hard not to want to just keep going even tho you know you shouldn't! Hopefully if you take it easy awhile you'll be able to get back in and not have to worry about it again...

Thanks so much for the nice words and for stopping by.
Sounds like a good plan, Jane. It's so easy to tell others to back off an injury and give it time but nearly impossible to tell ourselves the same thing, isn't it?
Oh, hubby's getting ready to head on the road for another job -- maybe in (Hartville?) Ohio. It's between Ohio and Wyoming at this point anyway.
I am VERY close to Hartville!!! Actually my mom's friend has a great Victorian shop in Hartville. They have a terrific flea market a couple times a week (such fun!!). And, the Hartville Restaurant is good Amish cooking!! Hartville is a quaint little Amish community -- lots of horses and buggies!
Jane I have officially lost my mind. This morning on the drive to work I was thinking about some upcoming dates I had to remember, dentist appt on June 25th, etc. The date June 20th came into my head but I could not for the life of me remember, what's on June 20th? Its your Bod Pod appt. I was thinking of!
Well obviously I am very excited for you!

Oh, how very cool! The Ohio job is far better money (than the WY one) so he'll probably end up going with that one but he needs to iron out some details first. It would be a longer-term (months) job so we'd be coming up to visit him regularly. I'll let you know if it pans out so we can meet some time.

That's too funny! LOL!!
Diane, that would be awesome!! DEFINITELY we should get together!!

Ooooh - ME TOO!!!!
And Jane, I am still trying to find out about the guy I know who can get me into the bodpod cuz if he does it, it'd be free... otherwise, I will try for the 20th too - fun!
I was trying to think of who else lives in Ohio but my brain just wasn't cooperating. Man, now I'm really hoping the Ohio thing works out! I'll have to use my wifely super-powers of influence...
Ginger, you JUST read my mind! I was just thinking that if Diane comes up here I would arrange a get-together for us Ohio gals.
(Or, just come on up, Ginger, any old time and we'll go out on the town and tear things up for a night! The guest room is awaiting!)
Oooh, now that is quite tempting. We would have some fun! Maybe we would run into Mr. Quinn?

Me too! I am reading all these Summit posts and bumming that I didn't just jump at the chance and go. This would be a wonderful band aid.

Leigh, you sound just like me. I forget so many of my own dates but I'll have June 20th in my head now for the rest of the month. LOL!
Can't wait to hear about it Jane. Let's do a pool and see who get closest.
Put me down for 23.5%
I'm not going to guess, because I am not good at those types of things, but I know it is going to be a good number and the 20th is definitely sticking out in my mind, too.

Cool about the BodPod. It's so hard to guestimate BF. Everyone carries it differently. I'm thinking you are 26ish, maybe 27. However, I'm not all that sure how those BodPods read. Are they similar to Dexa or hydrostatic? When PowermanDLs wife got a dexa scan done, she was 27 percent and honestly looked ripped. Very visible abs and good leg definition. I was shocked. I think all that matters is how you look in the mirror really - and I think you look really awesome Jane!
You guys, I have some really bad news. Today, Sophie was killed by another dog at the local dog park. I am devastated, to put it mildly.
Sophie was the best puppy ever. She was so smart and so sweet and unbelievably adorable and so full of spunk. She loved me very much and never left my side. I loved her so much. My heart hurts.
I may be a bit scarce for a while as I try to heal.
Oh Jane, I'm so sorry. We had the brother of the two cats we have now for three days when I rushed him to an emergency. It didn't matter that we'd had him for so little time, it was horrible. Once you bond, it's deep with pets. Do take care.
