Oh Jane, it takes all different kinds when it comes to committees. She sounds like she has some issues to sort through. However, I'll say that I've also encountered some ladies in the locker room who are pretty exhibitionist. I mean, don't just sit there on the bench, talk to me and then not attempt to put your clothes back on. (And as Bree pointed out, sitting there on a public-use bench, nekkid. Ugh. Sanitary issues...)

So that's Jillian's estimated bf%? I've always wondered about that, since I'm also a member of the short womens club, LOL.

Jane - if you weren't there to give her the stink eye you might have seen a sign prohibiting nekkidness in the locker room next week - sounds like you need to at least attend awhile to provide a voice of reason (and bring stories back to us for comic relief)

Power Training
Strength Program - Push/Pull
Weeks 4-6 (Workout 9 of 12)

1-Arm DB Snatch
3x30
3x35

Squats
6x115
4x105
3x110
3x125
8x85
*Felt my hips coming up uneven out of the hole on the first set, so dropped it back. The next sets went fine on the way back up. I think I'll be staying at a max of around 125 for a while. Can't get below parallel at 135 very often, so I think I just need to hang out here for a while and really concentrate on getting nice and deep. I did a few warm-up sets with just the bar and at 65 lbs where I went all the way to the floor and sat there for several seconds before coming back up.

DB Incline Bench
6x35's
4x35's
3x35's
2x35's

*This is HUGE for me! It wasn't but a couple months ago that I tried EVERY TIME to do ONE rep at 35. PR for reps!

Split Jerk
6x60
4x65
1x70
2x65
*PR for reps

Seated Russian Twist
10x25 lb plate
10x25 lb plate

Planks
2 minutes 20 secs
60 secs

woweeeeeeee janeeeeeeeee!!!

you are seriously getting strong. squats are looking great! I just love how focused you are on excellent form. your progress over the past 15 months speaks volumes about how important form is to strength gains and body comp changes. I really never appreciated squat depth until I worked with harvey. very humbling experience to realize how much I had to lower my weights to squat full range.

am completely in awe of how much stronger you have gotten since we all started this thing. seriously strong. I absolutely could not pull the weights you are pulling right now. well done!

What's up w/ that lady not wanting anyone to be nekkid in the locker room? Isn't that the point of the locker room? If people were walking around nekkid in the weight room, I could see how that would be objectionable.

Great lifting, Miss Jane. It's so much fun to read those high numbers!

Power Training

Strength Program - Push/Pull
Weeks 4-6 (Workout 11/12 of 12)

Barbell Lunges
6x85
4x90
3x95
2x100
*most reps and first time at 100

Bench Press
4x45
4x55
4x65
4x75
3x85
3x80
4x75
7x70
6x65

Romanian Deadlift
6x1754x180
3x185
2x190
10x135

DB Shoulder Press
4x30's
3x30's
3x30's
2x30's
*have no idea where these came from! I JUST did one rep at 30 a couple weeks ago and failed every time I tried it since. Then, today, just kept pumping them out! Huge PR for me, since shoulders have always been hard for me to make gains.

DB Bentover Row
6x55's
3x60's
3x55's
3x55's

OK, kind of a hodge podge workout today to finish out strength training for a while. This will be the last time for PR's for a while since I head back into a deficit/cut tomorrow. Workouts will mainly be to maintain strength as I hit the major lifts once a week. Will be doing HIIT on my 3 weight days and LISS on off days. Will reassess again in 4 weeks. Am very happy with this bulk in terms of strength gain....let's see if it translates into some LBM gain, as well.

Awesome power. Last time I did regular DLs was 3x15 at 195, and I'm a 170lb male. My typical NRoL RDL has been 125-135lbs. I'm very impressed - your back strength must be superb.

Great work on the PRs esp the RDLs!

I worked out with very old men at 5:30 a.m. when I was going to the gym in the morning. I didn't mind the nakedness but for some reason many of the oldest guys walked around in banana hammocks which was more nekkid than nekkid!

UGH. Horribly ugly weather day today for the third day in a row. Just yuck.

More RIF's, yet AGAIN, here at work, so work sucks, too. I've lost count on how many this makes.....10? 11? 12? A lot.

I can't wait to get outta here and get to the gym. I like the plan today: Bench Press, Rows, RDL's, crunches, step-ups, and DB swings -- two of my favorites are in there. I could do without the step-ups, however. But, I'm ready to attack it. Oh, any my grape XTend is waiting on my doorstep. Hallelujah! I will never get the orange again!! How many more hours of work?

Tomorrow is Violet's birthday.

Awwwwwww....Jane those are too cute! I was in the pet store the other day and there was a woman trying a Halloween costume on her Weimaraner...he actually liked it!!! Wish I could have a dog...alas, not till we have a house or we're out of this apt...for now I'll live vicariously through other people's cute little pups... If you can get her to wear the hat for more than 2 secs....I want pics!!!
