and I am not at all shocked about the form comment. you were one of the first original challengers who was a stickler from the beginning on form. me, on the other hand, I took a bit of the scenic route, lol!

LOL! Congrats.. it's so much fun to lift on a surplus of calories.. that makes it all worth to 'suffer' through other days of the week.

Well....thanks guys and girls!! That Sunday workout is what UD2 is all about. Everything I do for the previous 6 days leads up to that one workout, so I've gotta make it good!
Thank goodness today is a rest day because I'm dealing with a sick puppy. She's got a fever, inflamed intestines and tummy, vomiting, lethargic. She's at the vet's now getting an IV for dehydration and Vitamin B, and she got a shot for the vomiting. Nothing showed up on the xray except for the stomach/intestinal distress. Bland diet of chicken and rice for her for a few days. So, I'm going to pick her up and, hopefully, we can both rest tonight. She got me up WAY early with the vomiting. Then, I had to wash the bedding, and then she got the carpet a bunch of times and I was running around cleaning up after her and it was hard to keep up with her. Poor thing! Even her fur looks sick...she's just not as fluffy today.
I thought the same thing- and somewhere online he is saying "I saw this hawt girl in the gym Sunday doing these amazing lifts and all I could think to say to her was 'your form is so pretty it should be in a book'. do'h - do you think she thinks ... "
I hope I'm still hitting on women when I am a senior citizen. I hope I'm subtle enough so that if they are receptive they know what I'm saying and if not they just think I am a nice old man. I'm just sayin'
Seriously, guys! I've got a good radar for things like that....you know....being a single gal and all! Really....I would know!!!
Anyway.....Violet is doing OK tonight. She's hungry, though, and she's only allowed a tablespoon of chicken and rice every hour tonight and she's done for the night. So, I guess it's good that she's eating. She's got some tablet med to chew every morning and she gets half of a pepcid AC every evening. For a week. She's going to be fine. What an expensive little girl.
Did I remember to advise you to look into pet insurance when you first got her?
Because I never remember until they are older. Currently we're on the "put something away just in case each month" plan until the animal emerg fund is restored.
Yep, I've got pet insurance, but I went with a $200 deductible to keep the cost of the insurance in check. Today's bill was $225. BUT, if she doesn't get better and it's the same condition that still needs treated, THEN, I can still submit all bills for the same condition and get some help via the insurance.
I am doing six cycle of Lyle McDonalds UD2. It's a pretty strict diet and workout program to maintain or gain LBM while losing fat. Very low cal/low carb for several days a week (like 1200 cal/50 carbs) and then a 24-hour carb load once a week (you can see my carb load post a while back). All of this is precisely scheduled around different sorts of workouts. As you can see, I HATE the Tues and Weds depletion workouts. They suck big time.
Missjane,
thanks so much for the advice about squatting, I was definitely not getting low enough and had no idea. I really appreciate your advice and the fact that you are so helpful to everyone, especially us newbies! keep up all the great work both in posting and your workouts! and hope you're doggie is feeling better!
thanks

It's recommended no more than 6-8 cycles (weeks) of UD2 at a time.
Violet is much better....thanks! She really likes me cooking her special food for her. Big surprise when she starts getting her normal food starting tomorrow!
