AAHHHH Rest day. I have finally come to enjoy them now. I even slept in until 7am
I'm also happy to report i'm down a half pound to 130. I know that upping my fats lowering my carbs and keeping my calories above 1500 has really helped me. That and cutting out all the mints and candy i use to eat. As you know the night time was always a bad time for me. Now i drink my flavored black and green tea. My fave now is a chocolate hazelnut dessert tea and a mango/orange yerba mate tea.
Have a nice Sunday

Does the tea at night help to avoid the chocolates -- that's been one of my struggles lately -- chocolate at night?
Enjoy the rest!

Is it the time of the night that makes you want to eat or the fact you're watching TV? Just asking because maybe you could find something else to do wind down instead of watching the boob-tube. Or maybe, while watching TV, you could be doing something with your hands like needlepoint, a puzzle (my fave), crossword, etc.
BTW, I'm jealous of all your running. I know I need the break (and don't even have the time with my daughter here now), but I sure miss getting out for more than a few miles.

The best use for TVs (besides hoping someone will nominate you for a whole new $5000 wardrobe) is video games. It's hard to eat when you're killing stuff.

Suggestion - you might want to do your weights before your cardio. I understand it's better that way overall.

Have you tried removing the temptations? Harsh, I know, but that's how I have to do it. If it's in the house (potato chips are my downfall) I'll eat it.
Glad you're posting in your log again!

Give me a call when you wake up and tell me to get out there early too! I almost always run in the evenings during the Summer (except on weekends), even though I know it would be much better during the AM. From mid-Fall to sometime in April, I have no choice except running in the AM because our sunsets are so early here on the far Eastern edge of the Central time zone.
Good runs and workouts!

Sometimes i would like to run in the evenings but that the only time i get to spend with Steve and everyone is home in the neighborhood by then and i hate having to watch out for people pulling in and out of there driveways..when i'm out as early as i am the only person i see is the guy delivering the morning paper

Good Morning
Hope you all had a nice evening. I spent it out in my backyard watching all the hummingbirds that have finally decided to come around. I thought this year was going to be a bust. Back when we lived in the apartment i had hummingbird from May til October. Since we moved i have not had any until yesterday and now they are everywhere They are even running off the bird from my other feeders.
My tea that i ordered came yesterday and i'm loving it. I ordered it from this site
http://www.yerbamatecafe.biz/default.asp
I ordered the Vanilla Honey and White Chocolate and got the Pinapple Coconut free.
It really does give up a little pick me up..better than the pills i was taking..
Anyway here the plan for today
Cardio
6.22 mile run
1:09:00
Stretching
10 mins
Weights
Deadlifts
2x15
Step Ups
2x15

2x15
BB Rows
2x15
Reverse Crunch
2x15
Meals
As you know i eat about the same thing everyday so writing it out is really pointless..Here's the macro's
Calories
1550
Fat-55g
Carbs-104g

You all have a great day
