I've pretty much bounced back now...the energy is up...appetite is good....now my back is still bugging me. I sprained my S1 ...which has caused my pelvic bone to torque...Chiro yesterday....things are getting better quickly....I'm planning on getting back to the workouts in a couple of days.

Took the weekend off..way to busy to fit anything in anyway. Picked up my sis-in-law's eliptical trainer yesterday...set it up and the kids tested it...works just fine...now I can do mindless cardio when I just want to sweat.
I've got a hugely busy week with evening appointments and the kids soccer.
The back is progressing well and getting back to "normal".

Woohoo...I got a workout in last night...nothing huige just some chest and back...mostly testing my back issue...feel no extra pain this morning. I've got a full evening so I'll rest today and get back at it Wednesday with core and cardio
until my back is certified...I'm going to alternate the Bow flex push-pull with cardio and core.

Yee-haw...I've been so frustrated with not being able to do what I want to...felt really good to do something. I'll probably lay off the complexes until after Christmas...in a few weeks I will add some BB moves but no hang clean and deadlifts till much later.
thanks for popping in Paula...good to see you back at it as well.

Got a quick workout in last night...mostly testing my back
Leg extention
Push-Press
seated row
front squat
no extra pain during or after, I still have a dull ache in my right sacrum area...it's getting better by the day. Last night was a positive step forward....time to rebuild the strength and stamina I had a month and a half ago before this thing popped.

Thanks Mel.
I took the week end off...It was just me and my girls as my wife was in Scottsdale for seminars...no back issues...just a slight dull pain now that I no longer have in the front of my mind when I do anything....this week will be a work in week and if that goes well I'll be back at it....yippee.

Monday night....
3 sets (super-seted)
seated row 180x15
reverse lunge BW+40 x 12 (per leg)
chest press 180x12
RDL 100x10
planks 1min x 2
Back felt really good after, no extra pain...hammies are tight...I was shocked by the amount of stamina I've lost in the legs...
I've got our work wellness day tomorrow at a great local facility here. Doing some Boxing class and then we get free reign of the facility...so I'll just stretch tonight and do some core work and save somer heavier stuff for Thursday.

Thursday
I'm feeling this ....
After a warm up and stretch
close grip chins bwx6, 4, 3, 2
Squats 135x10, 225x5, 225x5
DB chest 40x10, 50x10 55x8
RDL 135x10, 225x6, 225x5
Had lunch then we did 45 min boxing class...skipping, technical sparing, heavy bag work, then finished it with some interval heavy bag pounding
10 min easy bike..then ended the day with a good stretch.
It felt great...I need to toss this daily grind and go to the gym for a living.
