OMG, the Flash Dance cut out neck shirt! I love that movie and I thought she was super hot! A welder by day, dancer by night - and its supposed to be in Pittsburgh. Now that is a look for Tom.
You are making me swoon Tracey.

Well I just meant that when I'm in spinning it takes all of my energy to motivate myself... And as for the 80's I know I was busy perfecting my Body by Buddha look.

Modified 300 Workout 12
Rests variable as needed - finish in as few sets/rests as possible.
A: 25 Pull Ups (Barbell Grip) 1x25@-250
B: 50 Suitcase Deadlifts 1x50@40
C: 50 Push Ups 1x30@BW, 1x20@BW (to 30lb dumbbell)
D: 50 Step Ups 1x50@BW (alternating sets)
E: 50 Floorwipers 1x25 each side
F: 50 Clean/Press 1x50@20 (alternating sets)
G: 25 Pull Ups (Barbell Grip) 1x22@-250, 1x3@-250
Time: 29.30.205 (according to my Ipod stopwatch)
A, G Pull Ups: 22 reps on first run in G - 3 to go!
B Suitcase Deadlifts: I swear I get slower at this exercise every time I do it. I think yesterday's spinning class was a factor, since we were doing heavy hills, but I got it done.
C Push Ups: Feeling optimistic about these - 30 and 20 is a lot better than I did a couple of workouts ago.
D Step Ups: Kind of lost count a couple of times but tried minimizing the contribution of the back foot.
E Floorwipers: Difficult still, but not quite as difficult as Monday's run.
F Clean/Press: Those dropsets on Wednesday must've still been in my shoulders because this went slower than it usually does.
Overall: I think I'm psychologically and possibly physically ready for something new. I was trying to talk myself out of doing this workout all morning, but I'm glad I went and did it. Time isn't my best but it was a good, honest effort.

You maybe in need of some rest too. Incredible job on this workout. Going from not feeling like doing it to almost completing all exercises in one set is a job well done. To me that is more impressive then a lower time.

Thanks - it was kind of weird... My mind was making all kinds of excuses not to get this done, but meanwhile my body was getting ready to do the workout just the same.

The Big Picture
I have a couple more training sessions at the Y, and my 3rd year anniversary (May 16th) of starting on this new life is coming up. I'm trying to come up with something different and unique to do, but not sure what that will be just yet. Whether it will be a change in training or something else.

I think that just proves that your body is ready to do whatever you can throw at it when your ready to do it.
Congrats on the anniversary. Its a big deal for sure. You have gone longer than most that start a weight loss plan. Your doing it the right way for sure. What are your goals for the next year?

Thanks everyone, but I've got a month and a half to go to hit 3 years.
In other news, I had another sleep study done last night. Although I've not mentioned it my log specifically before, I have had sleep apnea, mainly due to the weight I was carrying around. Last night was a measure to see how far I'd come after my weight loss. I know that I don't exhibit the symptoms often, if ever anymore, so I'll be interested to see what turns up.

When do you get the results back?
Congrats on the upcoming anniversary! Whatcha gonna do to celebrate? After reading the PF thread, I'm betting it won't be treating yourself to a lifetime membership to Planet Fitness.

OMG!!! Did you see that Youtube video RE PF??? They actually have a lunk alarm. That boggles the mind. Still for 12.99 a month and month to month contract it might be worth at least visiting.
No.... I take that back. I could never workout without grunting and swearing.
Interesting that you are at this crossroads. Are you considering something completly different like joining a soccer team or just looking for another weight lifting sort of workout?

Amen, sister. Thank goodness there are no lunk alarms here at home! (Don't give the kids any ideas...)
