Thankfully I could, and though I started slow I finished off well. I'm happy with my performance, and am looking forward to the personal training session on Friday.

Nice work! Sometimes you just have to force yourself to start, and know that your commitment to your health is worth it.

Yes it is Roland - the first time I did it it was with a barbell and had to do singles or doubles. I still feel very slow when doing them but getting a little quicker every time.

Thanks Kate - yes, I've found the times I've had to push myself to start is when I usually have the best workouts.

I just knew you were pushy.

I'm in a hit and run kind of mood right now. But I did want to say hi.

Just had my weekly chair massage, and my masseuse said I was getting built up in the neck and shoulders. She said she'd noticed it a while but said something now. Like I cared - a compliment is a compliment lol.

that is quite the compliment, as it comes from someone who is rather intimately involved with your muscle mass.

I thought so too. I did start doing assisted pullups fairly recently so maybe that had something to do with it.

Yippee! Compliments like that are the best. That workout yesterday looks like a killer. Nice job!

That workout looks brutal. Saxon side bends especially.

Thanks everyone - yes it's a challenge for me to get through them but I'm happy when I do. As tough as they are I find the training sessions with my trainer more difficult, because that's when we try new stuff. Still, I look forward to it as it's a break from the workout I've got listed above. Going to be asking if we're going to be changing it soon.

Personal trainer had to cancel our appointment for today, and I was kind of looking forward to doing something different today. Perhaps I still might, but regardless I'll be working out in 45 minutes.
