Spinning
Was a moderately difficult class today, but I think that's because we're going to have a longer, more difficult class on Thursday. Was a little more difficult as I slipped and fell on the ice, making the left glute and right quad sore (the former because that was the landing spot and the latter because that was the leg that slipped.) Nothing major, but felt the quad a bit on the hills.

Do you think you would have been able to get up and mend so quickly after a fall like that last year? I bet your current lifting regime helped a lot with recovery. You are such an inspiration, keep it up.

Probably not - actually in many cases, I'd not fall because I'd be able to keep my balance. So it's all good.

You know, I thought there was something different about your avi, too! Your face definitely looks thinner! Good for you!

What a difference three years makes...
Thanks Just to remind myself of where I've come from, here's a true before pic to go with the current pic.

December 04

January 08
A difference of about 120lbs. And what a journey it's been...

Nicely done, dude.
(If you didn't catch it, that was a reference from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Maybe.)

Thanks everyone. Yes Deb - it's the same pair of glasses, just not as much face stuffed between 'em. I've not done anything consistently great, but the fact that I've been greatly consistent makes up for it.
