Preliminary indications seem to be about the same as the pre-Hypertrophy. Weight was the same at 241, and the circumference and other measures seem to be very similar. Not sure what to make of it all.

Well, I will add my congrats on finishing now. I jumped the gun earlier, so I'm back!
You sound a bit let down about your results. This time will be good to discuss things with your new trainer and re-set your sights.
I'll be watching.

Good job... I may have started Hyp 1 to early I will have to take a week break at Christmas which will just be the 1/2 way point.
Are you doing a lot of cardio? I have noticed with myself doing a lot of running and NROL my weight stays the exact from week to week and I don't think I am gaining much muscle, but I do think I am getting stronger. So that maybe the same with you.
I do the dreaded B 3x15 today.

I do cardio 2x a week (spinning class). My weight's been roughly the same for a long time now, but people have mentioned to me that I look thinner etc. Plus what I see in the mirror seems to indicate that I am getting a little leaner - but such observational evidence seems to conflict with the quantitative data. That's what has me concerned.

Congrats on finishing H1!
Plateaus (plateaux?) happen. It's not too unusual, and I've gone through long ones. You're doing the right thing. Just hang in there and keep going.

Do you still periodically track your food intake in fitday to see where you stand?

Not really no - I think it's more of a question with getting back on the bandwagon. Not that I've fallen totally off, but I've not exactly been on either.

You need to track what ya eat. Remember, you reap what ya sow.

I think as long as you're holding steady through the holidays while perhaps losing some fat...you're doing okay. Get back on that wagon when you're ready though. Tracking does help when you are not losing. Helps you sort things out.

You got through the program and improved in strength and ability to do the exercises. The weight loss will come with better control of your diet.

Agreed. That's quite an eye in that needle to get through.

Well I avoided one holiday party yesterday as I went to spinning class, but today is the corporate holiday party *sigh*. This too shall pass.

Tracking weight is such a tricky thing and is definitely NOT a good measure of quantitative data. You know the drill: water weight, muscle gain, wonky scale, etc. make that measurement very variable. The important things are that you are getting stronger and you generally feeling better, plus you're getting the compliments so who cares what the scale says. I say chuck the damn thing.
Congrats on finishing HT1! That's a tough one and I had the same sort of tanking at the end -- it was burnout for me.

The Christmas season is a hard time for many to watch their diet. I find it best to try and limit what I eat at these functions. Of course, it's so much easier to say this than to actually do it.
