Cool!! Which TT will you do? Have you seen the July workout? Crazy!!!
Thanks, Victoria. She's excited about getting her full hearing back and it does look as if that's entirely possible.

I haven't decided which TT workout yet. I plan to focus on the bodyweight workouts that I purchased last year for the next week before starting a new program. I'm intrigued by your fusion workouts; I could do those at home. I do want to look at a wider range of his offerings before I choose, but I still haven't purchased a membership.... I'll take care of that within the next couple of days.

Default July 4

Nutrition: Full Compliance
Exercise: Run: Distance - 5 miles Time: 36:46

It was a pleasant day. Mrs. Egham's vertigo appears to have settled down. She's not willing to try driving yet, but she's much better.

We just took it easy for most of the day. It was cool enough to open the doors and windows and let the breeze in. Some floating on an air mattress, some sitting down by the lake reading (Jose Saramago's book "Seeing" - I really like his books!), some looking at CB's TT site, trying to decide whether to purchase a membership or just a set of workouts.....

I did order a TRX! Roland's and Jill's posts convinced me.

Sounds like a good day Egham. I just wish the rain here would go away.... I'm tired of it.

It really was.....Send some of that rain this way. We're about 6" behind average for this time of the year and we've been pumping a lot of water out of the lake these past few weeks to keep the grass, flower beds, and newly planted shrubs from withering.

Ooooooooh!!!!!!! Excitement! You're gonna have fun! It's great to work into your regular fitness routine. Especially if you have a nice outdoor setting to work in (which it seems you do). Every time I use it in one of my backyard workouts I'm happy. I'm not as lucky as Roland who gets to drag his to the beach and hook it to a lifeguard station (how COOL is that?), but hanging it over my son's backyard playscape works for me.

P.S. I like Saramago too. I really enjoyed "Blindness"

I'm looking forward to it. I already went out and spread Amdro to make sure the fire ants won't be around to bother me when I use it.

Blindness is the first of his books that I read. So far I've read all but two and will remedy that situation soon. His non-fiction "Journey to Portugal" was actually helpful in planning our vacation there about 5 years ago.

Egham, congratulations on finishing FL1! It's a great feeling, isn't it? Cool on getting the TRX. Did you notice the "Military Fitness Program" on the website? Looks like a really cool 12-week program.

I'd be happy to help you find a TT program if I can. Maybe if I know what you are looking for, I can look through the programs and recommend a few. Just a thought!

Hugs to Mrs!

Thanks, Victoria. Yes, I was intrigued by the "Military Fitness Guide" and noticed that it was included with their "Force" model, so that's what I ordered. I'm looking forward to setting the thing up and seeing just what I can do with it. I thought about getting their Core Strength Vol. 1 as well, but figured that the Military Fitness Guide would probably more than adequately cover core strength.

I could have justified buying a membership at the old price (as a trial run just to see how it worked out for me), but since I am highly uncertain as to just how I would end up using my membership, the new, doubled price seems a bit too steep just to see how I like it (I found Craig's e-mails about the price hike and am kicking myself for not noticing when they arrived). At this point, I'm thinking that I could get what I need out of a couple of his e-books. That would see me through for approximately a year for around 1/3 the price of a full membership, or less. Once I get through those, I should be in a better position to determine whether a membership to gain access to the monthly workouts would be in order.

I'm looking to drop some more fat and add muscle. I realize that I could just stick with NROL to make that happen, but - after almost a year - I'm ready to try something a bit different, something that isn't as gym dependent (I absolutely HATE fighting the traffic). I've looked through the TT e-book listing and am thinking that I will purchase the "Get Lean!" package. One of the things that I like about the Bodyweight package I purchased last year is that it includes multiple programs to choose from, and the Get Lean package appears similar in that regard. It offers a full year's worth of workouts, should I decide to follow it from beginning to end. So, I was thinking about starting with that with an eye toward eventually picking up the TT for Mass program a few months down the road.

Your thoughts?

Thanks all!

It always feels good to wrap up a workout program, and by the time I get to the last couple of workouts in a program, I find I'm eager to move on to something new - whether that be the next program in the same package or something considerably different. This time, I'll move on to some TT workouts to shake things up a bit.

Walked around loop with Mrs. Egham......1st time since her major vertigo attack on June 25....She's definately feeling much better!

It was another beautiful day, although temperatures did approach 90. I guess our relatively cool break is over.
