Must feel good to atleast know the root of her problems -- I wish you all the best in finding the course of action that will fit you best...
Good job on your nutrition!

I'm half-way through the 5th set. A week's rest is coming up soon!
I'm not sure what I'll do next - NROL Strength I, or focus on Craig Ballantyne's TT programs for awhile. I was attempting to follow the "Lifter #2" program and have already completed NROL Hypertrophy I & II. Then, Mrs. Egham's vertigo problems flared up and I didn't do much of anything for a few months. When I finally got back to it, I had gained nearly 15 pounds and decided that rather than go on to Strength I, I'd ease back into things with a round of Fat Loss I. Going with that has been good for me and I feel ready to move on.....Now, to decide just what to move on to....

A contradiction in terms...no?
I've started doing TT workouts, and so far, I really like them. Have you done any before?
Go Mrs. Egham!!!!

I can certainly say that it wasn't quite the "ease-in" that I had thought it would be....after all, it's ONLY level 1....right?. However, I was able work into it without too much difficulty beyond what seems normal when I keep pushing myself to add weight, so it seems like it was a good move.

I've been using the TT bodyweight workouts when I travel, and I do like them. That's what made me think about trying others.
Thanks! I'll pass it on.

I like it cooler too when I workout -- I get hot enough as it is anyway. I usually workout in our basement, and that is naturally cool, so it works out quite well. Nice HIIT workout!

I don't understand how some folks can workout in the gym dressed in full sweats, as several do; I simply couldn't handle it. The top end of my comfort range is even lower when I run, making the gym marginal even on the best days. HIIT becomes particularly tough...Thanks for the compliment.
I do workout a fair amount in our basement from late Fall through late Spring and do just fine. However, we have to turn the dehumidifier on and keep it running the rest of the year and it really warms up the basement to the point where the gym is the more comfortable option.

Hi Paula,
It's been a good day, thank you. I'm starting my weekend now, so it's suddenly even better! I hope you get good news regarding your keys.

That's really good news that Mrs. Egham at least has an explanation for her problems. I know it's still a long road of treatment, but hopefully she will gain some real relief!
Good workouts - somehow I just caught your 51 minute 7-mile run. That's a VERY good run! You should be racing!

Thanks, Dave.
I do enjoy running, especially the way I seem to be able to "reset" and clear my mind during a good run. I just go out and fall into whatever pace feels comfortable at the time. When I am in good shape, that's usually between 7:20 and 7:45 min miles over 5 to 7 miles. The time on that particular run surprised me, I didn't really think I'd manage that given the warmth and humidity.
I have looked up times for my age group in a running book I bought a few years ago, and it does appear that I might be a decent local competitor. So far though, about as competitive as I've gotten is to spot another runner ahead of me and attempt to pass him/her before we reach a given point.

Nutrition: Full Compliance
Exercise: HIIT - I woke up wide awake before dawn. Had a small omelet, sucked down my pot of coffee and ran hill intervals as the sun came up over the cove.
SS- 2.5 mile walk around loop with Mrs. Egham....She's really getting into her walks....She moves!...

The coffee thing is great! Someone has a quote from you in their sig... COFFEE.... it just feels right. or something to that effect. I like it. I am not a huge coffee drinker, but it does have its place. Your run time is impressive Mr. Egham!! I hope to eventually have times that low. I have no idea what mine are right now for distance since I am only running for time but I will see one of these days.
Say hi to Mrs. Egham!

Just caught up on what has been happening with Mrs. Egham ... glad that they have figured out the cause ... praying that the conservative treatment is successful and that she doesn't have to have the surgery. I have sufferred from vertigo a few times and it is NOT fun.
Nice workouts ... especially the canoeing ... I'm with Mrs. Egham, I like to sit and occasionally paddle, but my DH will paddle me all over our lake!!
