Good job...you've still got decent strength. I know shoulder pressing 30 lb DBs would challenge me!

Well.
Weight is pretty much exactly the same, but I am ok with that, I am not trying to eat less, and sometimes I know I over do it within the context of the diet. Strength is going up at the moment, or at least the numbers are. Maybe I didn't pick heavy enough the first time out? Oh well I will keep adding on plates as I go.
Diet wise. No big deal. It would be nice to eat ice cream and such, but at the end of the day I chose not to, so I won't. There is plenty of tasty things I can eat as well that aren't pure sugar, or sugared at all for that matter.
I've only been on the diet for about 2 weeks. I may be a bit leaner, we shall see. If the crappy scale I have was to dip below 25 or so I would be solidly convinced that I am leaner.
I will probably add a weight chart to my Tracker sheet tomorrow as well.
Og.

I'm noticably leaner too, but only a few pounds on the scale since starting ... but one inch off my waist and 1/2 inch off each thigh ... Roland said he noticed that the weight held on for a while then dropped rapidly, then held on, then dropped ...

Pretty quiet day all in all, the weather was total ass today combined with a lack of funding and buying a car I opted to ditch the 5km I was supposed to do today. I am not really in shape for it anyhow. I will dig up another before the end of the challenge.
The day however was not wasted. I did some cleaning and tidying. I also did some drawings, mainly figure studies these last few days.
I thought I would add some photos of the sketch book so you could all see what I do.
The first is sorta blurry, bad photo work. It is of a fire lookout tower on Pilot mountain in BC. I spent a couple of weeks up there watching for forest fires in my younger days
The next three are just photos I found on-line that I drew
The last three are my figure work. I have been working on this stuff the hardest even though I really had no intentions on drawing the human form, cause I am typically pretty bad at it.
That's today's update.
Og.

Nice!! I am so untalented in the art realm ... I'm always so impressed by people who have any sort of artistic talent!

Nice Og.
I can't draw people either. I can paint them pretty ok though... I even try the upside down trick (where you turn your subject upside down... usually when working from a picture, so that you just draw the lines, and don't try to draw a "face" or "body" or whatever). I still suck at drawing people. Heck, I don't draw super well in general.
Yer skullz are pretty badass...

Julie: I don't personally believe I have any artistic talent. I do however subscribe to the theory that although talent may very well exist, I am more inclined to believe it is more a combination of liking something and doing it a lot and trying to get better. I have never personally taken any art courses. I have drawn off and on for my own pleasure since I was little, but more off than on. This time through I have put much more effort into it and think these are my most sucessful drawings to date, especially of people.
So, much like some people may have genetic predisposition to abz, it does not mean that those of us who are not, cannot achieve them. Just takes hard work and dedication.
Fey: I spent most of saturday watching videos by this guy, to bad he only has his head videos. Maybe when I am richer I will consider buying his stuff, judging by the head stuff they are worh the $50 he wants.
Then for a fair bit of time on Sunday just sketching them a lot, including some time with some books with anatomy in them.
I have never painted a picture, might try it. Be cool to produce a painting of decent quality. I have always been amazed by the landscape artists you see on Tv sometimes. And here we have. stroke, stroke, brush, a house and a tree, scrape, and a moutain range.
