Strength 1-B

Warmup
1x10x45 Benchpress
1x5x95 Benchpress

Superset w/ 180 sec rest
BB Bench Press: 1x6x115, 1x1x135, 1x4x125, 1x1x140, 1x11x100 (two short on third set)
BB Bent Over Row: 1x6x115, 1x1x135, 1x6x125, 1x1x140, 1x11x100

Superset w/ 120 sec rest
Close Grip Lat Pulldown: 2x8x130
DB Shoulder Press: 2x8x30 (each hand)

Lower Body Russian Twist: 2x10xBW

Good workout. I really concentrated on my form, and because of this I fell a little short on one for the benches. But overall I'm happy since I believe this is the best form I've had throughout the whole bench press sets. No shoulder pain again, so I'm really happy about that.

I had a cheat meal today (Moe's Southwest Grill), and I've been feeling it ever since. Food was very good, but just ate way too many calories. I've felt full since shortly after lunchtime.

Hoping to get the bike out tomorrow and go for a ride - it's been a long time since I've went, and I'm missing it.

Nice job on those Strength workouts Lance ... I might consider that one when the snow starts to fly and I can't get outside anymore ...

Thanks again everyone. The strength workouts are proving to be a fun change of pace after doing FL workouts. I'm really enjoying these!

Today I got out for a bike ride this morning before anyone else got up. Beautiful morning, finally seeing sunshine and cooler less humid temps. Anyway, I rode 13.7 miles at a 16.5 mph pace. Very level bike path that I was mainly on. Good ride, felt good to be back on the bike again after most of the month of August off.

Worked around the house this afternoon. I'm looking to enclose the bottom of a treehouse we have so we can use it for storage, so I began to get the ground leveled off, and plan how I'll build this thing. Hopefully I'll get it done sometime in September.

Great job - great to see what others are capable of doing as it gives more incentive to keep progressing myself.

Hehe...you too, huh? I'm still recovering from mine. I don't think I'll be doing that again for a while!

Great workouts! You are really tearing NROL apart!!!

Strength 1-C

Warmup
1x6x75 Deadlift
1x5x135 Deadlift

Exercise w/ 180 sec rest

Deadlift: 1x6x210, 1x1x255, 1x6x230, 1x1x265, 1x10x210, 1x15x175

Superset w/ no rest between exercises

Romanian Deadlift: 3x10x125
Static Lunge: 3x8x30 (e.h.)

Superset w/ 90s rest between exercises
Good Morning 2x10x90
Incline Reverse Crunch 2x10xBW

Got this workout in this morning before work. Up early, and once I got started it felt good. If I can just figure out a way to convince myself to get out bed early like that every morning! The deadlifts were tough.

Nice numbers - how long does it take you to get through a workout?

The strength workouts, especially the leg workouts, take between 45-55 minutes, including the warmup period. Rest periods are long, and I definitely use the rest on leg days. Upper body days are a little shorter as I usually take shorter breaks.

Nice job Lance ... do you find that you get sore from the strength workouts? I always wonder if the increased rest periods help with that ...
