Fireworks were good -- we ended up just going to our neighbors, but they had a very nice display. Weather was very good -- the day before it rained most of the evening, so we lucked out.

Thanks! I have five workout left in FL-2. Not sure what I will do after that, looking at either a Strength or Hypertrophy workout.

Biking again today. To work and back. Should get in 23 miles roundtrip. It was tough this morning, I think because my legs were tired from FL2-A yesterday.

How are you liking FL2? I'm doing FL1 right now and am debating whether to redo it again or "graduate" to FL2.

FL-2 is tough, but that's why I like it. Of course, when I'm actually doing some of the exercises, I can tend to hate it... But in the end, it is very effective at getting your heart rate up, making you sweat.

The wind gods were working in my favor today -- I was able to cruise home, it was my easiest ride home yet! Felt good after the difficult ride this morning (which had nothing to do with environmental conditions, only physical conditions).

You're a trooper, Lance! I wish I could ride my bike to work...would take me the better part of the day!

You are a trooper. I have been looking at riding to work lately but it has rained everyday. So, I drove the short distance because I didn't want to get my clothes wet, etc. I remember one day last year after it rained, I rode to work. I ended up with these little spots on the back of my clothes where wet mud or something similar had been kicked up onto my back....... not nice.

Best wishes,

Newman

I feel your pain!!! I hate most of my workouts until they are over... then I love them!!! I feel so great afterwards, but getting through them can be tough!!!

You're doing great! Keep up the good work!

Saturday afternoon we went to my parents -- about 3 hours away. My mom's birthday, and she is retiring from work. So it was a fun celebration -- and eating was a little off. But it was worth it. Weather was hot here too this weekend, in the 90's, and humid. A/C feels nice!

Since you're only taking 30 seconds of rest, you must be close to finishing FL2 (like workout 5 or 6). Never fear, the end is near!

Are you subbing DB rows for the wide cable pulls in FL-IIA?

Yes -- I work out at home and my equipment does not currently have where I can do cable pulls. Maybe someday........
