We love to love!

I am really incensed at the retarded students living near me. My house is a row unit with fantastic neighbours on both sides of me. One house down from the fabulous neighbours has been converted to a 5-bdrm, 2-kitchen student flat...today they were throwing freaking fireworks into the street. I walked out to see who was screaming and yelling and saw them fly. I called the cops on them...tomorrow I will have a wee chat with their landlord, who may wish to tell them to stop doing that.

I woke up today having trouble walking. And of course, it was leg day again.

I feel slightly better now, after loosening things up a bit. I am taking tomorrow off....and Monday I am off work and will get a massage.

My tummy is in GI hell yet again. Man, this is not good. I spent 12-13 days out of 14 in total pain.

No offensive foods you can think of? Too much stress can do this as well. No wonder you were cranky about the fireworks.

Not really. I swear it's almost like random. I get 1 day of good and 10 of nasty.

I can sorta see a few ab veins making a slow appearance. They're not bumpy yet but it's happening...I think...they come and go.

The last week or so has been intense.
I have switched back to an upper lower split. The lower is just from hell, and the upper is a circuit where I do 3 exercises in a row, 3 x...and there are 3 different rounds. In between I do cardio on the stepmill or abs. It's hard as well.

on and off...I wonder if it's because I'm pale or what...I have veins everywhere, running on my shoulders, arms, even my shin - that one is diagonally across it...

Leg workout: done...I'm done, too...plain exhausted. Only an hour or so to go before I can go home and collapse...and inhale more food! I'm starvin'.

I can see all kinds of veins just under the skin. It'll be nice once i get some more fat gone.

Could it be that your workouts are too exhausting and hence put so much stress on your body that's already battling with GI issues, that you aren't making as much progress as you would expect?

I'm looking at my failure to lose on NROL FL2+3 when my maintenance dropped instead of going up. I still lost a teeny bit since I also ate less.
Not sure if the metabolic work was really to blame as it coincided with Intermittent Fasting, but I really never lose well when overstressed.

Doing metabolic work is OK, as long as there's less mental pressure.
I'm thinking you might lose fat better when you'd have a more careless approach and would eat more intuitively (not that I can do that) and would dedicate more time on lifting more heavily (5x5s). Are you doing any low rep work at all?

Don't be mad at me, I'm just projecting here.

BTW, I finally know who krayola is

Hey, E, I'm actually making progress, I think. It's never as fast as we would like though, is it?

I do look a little leaner (I think? I hope?), my legs are harder/denser and I feel pretty good. I just don't sleep well!

You lowered carbs didn't you?
Lowering carbs works well for me too, except that I get
- sleep problems
- blurry eye vision
- tingling arms
- eventually ginormous carb cravings
And this is even with eating above 100g on average

I never ate that many to start with. So not really. I eat fruit for carbs...and once a week or so, some rice but not really that much.
