Found this site through the O2 forums and boy, I am glad I did! It is the kind of thing I need to get my a$$ into gear :p Ok goals wise -
Nutritional Goal: I want to stick as closely as possible to my macros and not go above my daily calories. I can have a treat each week, but only if I have been good the rest of the week
Weights days: 1700 cals; 165g protein, 125g carbs, 60g fat
Cardio Days: 1450 cals; 145g protein, 115g carbs, 45g fat
Fitness Goal:
3 x sessions of resistance training per week
1-2 x interval sessions per week
2+ ss sessions per week
Personal Goal: This may sound kind of silly, but first and foremost I want to learn to organise and plan for my life and goals.
- I want to stick to this for the whole 61 days and not give up because it's "All or Nothing"
- Learning to love myself and my body, not wishing and thinking about what I could be 'when I lose weight'
- Complete my personal sessions
- Be at 65kg or 143lbs by August 2007
- Thinking and acting positively
- Keep an inspiration journal and read every day
Competitive Goal:
There is a fun run/walk in a town a few hours away which I will start training for and my only aim with this one is to finish ETA: July 22 2007
Really happy to have found this challenge and this site - and please feel free to do some virtual a$$ kickin if you see me slacking off :p

Hey KiiKi.... just remember this. As long as you are working, there is no such thing as failure - only unexpected results. The only real way you can fail is if you QUIT. And you are an all or nothing kind of person, so we're not going to quit! What does this mean. SUCCESS for you!!!!

Well today is the day, June 1!! I have a most-of-the-day group job interview so I am hoping that doesn't turn into an all-of-the-day job interview so that I can get my butt to the gym
I have started my day out very well though, with my absolute favourite meal in the entire 'clean' world, Protein Pancakes with s/f maple syrup :p
Be back later to fill in the rest of todays activities and eats

And, what might the treat be?

Great pictures. I love protein pancakes too. Dr. Lonnie Lowery made us some at the Staley Summit in October and I was hooked. Welcome again and good luck.

Hi Victoria! And thanks for the compliment. I am not sure yet what my treat will be - perhaps if I have some sort of social event - a couple of drinks but hopefully something that doesnt involve wasted calories!

I think Protein Pancakes have that affect on most people with tastebuds lol :p

Ok so it is the end of June 1st - unfortunately I didn't get back from the group interview in time to get to the gym (my gym has early fridays ) but good news - todays eats have been really good.
Nutrition is usually my biggest downfall so I am mainly focussing on this - considering I was out for most of the day unprepared (not having access to cooking or heating facilities) I think I did rather well

Welcome aboard kiikii and congrats on the weight loss, you look great!
Now on to more serious things. I would wish you luck on the challenge, but none of us need that. We just need to want to be better and to excel at the goals we set for ourselves.
Lets get it done!

Thanks Lance, Julie, msmorzt, Ogedei and onlybetternow I certainly prefer the 'now' photo to the old photo *shudder*
Eats today were again, really good! Not so good training wise because I couldn't get to the gym but am getting there tomorrow morning (think they open for about 5 seconds ) to get in my bicep, tricep, lat training.
Thanks to calorieking.com.au here is my calories and macros for the day
Calories: 1409
Protein: 163g
Carbs: 60.4g
Fat: 57.2g
Again another good day and an alcohol free friday and saturday night (or depends on how you look at it - usually I would be socially doing something that involved alcohol! )

I totally understand the *shudder* at the old photo. I look back at some of mine from time to time, just to remind myself. I forget how far I have come at times. I look in the mirror and think damn, I hate that fat pocket here or there, or I need more muscle. These may all be true, but looking back at where I came from puts the success that has been achieved quickly into perspective.
