Getting started in the LIVIN'LARGE 61 Day Challenge. Here are my goals:
Nutrition:
Goal is 110 half days of following the Afterburn nutrition guidelines. 1 half day block will be allowed each week as a "cheat" day.
Fitness Goal:
I will be following a modified version of Alwyn Cosgrove's Afterburn program. I am currently training for walking a half marathon so I am cutting back to 2 sessions per week instead of 3. My goal will be 15 sessions.
My training schedule for the half marathon has me walking a total of 85 miles during the challenge. I currently walk at a pace of about 17 min/mile. My goal for walking will be 42 x 30 min sessions.
Personal Goal:
My personal goal will be to lose 20 pounds of body weight. This will allow for about 2 pounds loss per week.
Competitive Goal:
My goal is to compete in 2 5K events during the challenge. The first will be the Muirfield 5K and the second will be the Westerville 4th of July 5K.
