Congratulations on the job! The rest is just a cosmic makeup to balance your good fortune.

I could do without the cosmic makeup as a balance to my good fortune. The past two weeks have been hellacious in numerous ways.
The good news is that the naps I took today have really helped. I'll be going to bed early so I can get up early tomorrow and get on the bus.

Tried out the most accessible of my benefits this noon. The fitness center.
Did 2 miles of walking on the track and 5 minutes on the stepmill.
 The stepmill is evil!

It is.
Hopefully yours is better than what we have at the gym. While it looks nice, it doesn't allow the whole foot to fit on the tread, so you end up not being able to get your heel on the step, making it hard on the knees when you can't as easily activate the glute by driving through the heel.
5 minutes on that thing and I have a super high hr, it's pretty steller as a warmup for the rest of my cardio, but that's about all I use it for.

I've done about 400 in a single stretch, for some challenge thing on a different site... I was catching up on them.
Not as fun as it sounds.
:p

I did 358 situps at one time on a bet in the Marine Corps. I think it was for a beer that I probably couldn't drink after all those situps.
By the way, I have 11 EW feet so they don't fit on much of any cardio devices. I do the cardio bike and other things by shoving my feet on top of the straps. Steps are a chore for the reason you described.

I do believe I am going to see what I need to learn how to box and use a headache bag. That way when I'm as ticked as I am right now, I can imagine that the headache bag is the head of either a) the insurance guy who can't get me into a rental car because the insured hasn't bothered to call back or b) the schmuck who hit me in the first place!

That's why I'm happy about my agent. They've never waited on the other guy... no reason to... it was his fault, and if he never shows his face again, that's what the un/under-insured coverage is for. State Farm is good to me, and from what I have heard from other people who don't have SF trying to get their insurance to do stuff can be a p.i.t.a.... esp if the other party is insured by SF (long story, but it just made me more happy I was with SF).
But, I do hope you feel better. If your insurance company is this much of a pain, I'd strongly look at switching to somewhere else after it's all over. I don't know why they think people want to deal with their bs when an accident happens... esp when it's not your fault.

My insurance company is pissing me off too.... but I'm definitely going to look at going with another insurance company. This is just irritating beyond belief. I tried to get my insurance company to help, but they won't since I didn't file a claim with them. WTF?!>?!?!
