thanks all.
what kills me about this is that I have ignored one of the prime directives of the military "don't pay for the same ground twice" ... I lost 60+ lbs in 2006 and instead of continuing to goal in 2007 I managed to put back 30-some. cripes.
that said, I haven't eaten enough today. But, I found a can of G'day Tuna Gourmet (mild Indian curry) in my desk drawer so will go have that as a snack.

Good luck with this challenge, Lisa, and thanks so much for the squat advice.

NROL4W Stage 1 B#1 2x15 except last 2x8
DL: 55, 55
did the superset pairs wrong - here is what I did:
Wide Grip Pulldowns: 70,70
Lunges*: BW, BW
DB Press: 15,10
Ball Crunch: BW, BW
*actual alternating lunges - about 3. Too much pain (DOMS from Monday) to continue with good form. Substituted 2x20 BW squats. Still hurt. Sets were more like 12+3+3+2

Congrats Lisa on kick'n it back up again. It doesn't matter that this is round 2, it only matters that you are on the path again. Looking forward to watching you shrink.

I've done 2 B workouts, and on the 2nd one I did the DB Press with the lunges and the Wide Grip pulldowns with crunches on bench (don't have ball @ home).
Any way, I separated the 2 because my R shoulder was "burning" (not hurting) and I thought it didn't want to do press/pull in same set. I liked the workout better this way. I'll try it in the proper order the next time, however, if it's better to me the 2nd way that's how I'll finish the stage.

Don't sweat the switcheroo in the workout. It was impressive, regardless! Onward and upward!

NROL4W - Stage 1 - WO# A2 -
all 2x15 except jackknifes 2x8
Back Squat: 55, 55/11 45/4
PushUp*: BW, BW
Seated Row: 70, 70
Step Ups: BW, BW
Jackknives**: 8,8
finisher: 20 min brisk walk
*pushup variation: ~45 degree (used #8 (-1 ) on squat rack with bar)

eats:
Made Chicken Piccata tonight - first time I've used those techniques - the chicken was very tender and moist. I'll do cutlets with a pan sauce like that again soon.

ouch
note to self: if the saute pan has been in the 450 degree oven for 10 mins and only sitting out on the stove for less than 5 mins - don't grab the handle to shove it to the back burner. You'll burn all your finger tips and some of your palm. Owie.
