mostly TRX stuff twice or three times a week - things have conspired against SS lately, but I'll probably restart that soon. I don't really log the TRX stuff - it's more just 30 minutes of metabolic stuff and I mix up the movements to get about 5 or 6 in the workout. Plus the bike rides, which I don't really report here either, or the dog walks, etc. If I went for a long ride I suppose I'd log it.
lately I've been rabbiting for the dogs - we're teaching them to lead out and pull (think dogsledding) with a rider on a kick bike - and I'm riding ahead as a rabbit to give them the incentive to move out in front and pull (rather than trot along side). So it is stop and go and stop and go - so good for me for confidence and getting used to things but not much in the aerobic at this point. Maybe this weekend for a longer ride again. But there's no traffic where we're running the dogs. And it can all get done after work, before dinner, while it is still light. I do like summer daylight.
I've been poking around in your log for a day or so (I laughed when I saw an "uffda" early on because I grew up with that phrase) and figured I should stop and say "Hai"

oh hai. You betcha.
Welcome.
You're from Minnesocold, right?
LOL That's me. Though I'm not officially Scandinavian you can't grow up here without absorbing a certain amount of it from the air.

^^ and I had no list this past weekend, so there you go.
However I did get a lot of the junk mail/trash mail/old mail sorted, shredded what needed shredding & tossed out. Discovered a new addiction - tropical punch koolaid made as a concentrate with sweetzfree (liquid sucralose) and then made up with selzer water 3:1 or 4:1. At least it isn't Fresca (my previous addiction only because Diet Squirt can be hard to find in 2L). Mmm, coloring & chemicals - my favorite.
Popping back to the bike riding for a bit--I love riding my bike but live in an area where there are NO bike lanes. So, being another who lives in Mortal Fear of Getting Hit by a Car, I relegate my riding to early Saturday mornings. I keep thinking I should move to some place that has decent bike paths around...
And your KoolAid addiction reminds me of how, briefly in middle school I think it was, it became a fad to eat the KoolAid powder straight. Wimps added sugar.

If I had a dog, I'd so train him (or her) to do that.

Ah, Lisa. You've given me so much help in the training forums I figured it was time to come here and send a little love back. I haven't had time to read all 20+ pages but just keeping a log for a two year period of time is an accomplishment in my mind.
Bad news around here today.
A woman I've worked closely with for twelve years or so has cancer return. She had a lumpectomy about 6-7 years ago and did very well. Now she has relapsed and is scheduled for chemo every 3 weeks over the next 3 months.
Another woman I've worked with off and on (not closely, she's in another dept but have known her 5 or 6 years) - anyway, I guess she had an aneurysm behind her eye (heard that 2nd hand) and went for surgery, had a seizure during the procedure and as of yesterday was in a coma.
thanks guys - it really is a "pit of the stomach" reaction around here - once she was 5 years out we all kind of relaxed mentally (not to mention what she and her family must be feeling)
Awful news, Lisa. Your coworkers are in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear about both their troubles. I think the '5 years clear' is something that most women don't think about. My mother went through a lumpectomy and still has a moment of panic if they call her back at her mammogram (so far no issues).
