thanks for the suggestion, but since I keep kosher, my restaurant/food choices are very limited...

thanks man, I just got back today, good trip. Didn't really get to see chicago though, my uncle's baby daughter was sick the whole time. Closest thing to chicago was touring Northwestern/evanston and Uchicago. Maybe next time though

Sorry you didn't get to see much of Chicago. It's a great city; I lived in the western burbs for three years when I was in college. Hope your little cousin is better soon.
How were the school tours? U of Chicago has one of the most amazing libraries I've seen.

^mehhhh...these sucked as my back was torched deads.
Comments:
-got back from chicago today..good trip. Diet was OK, not terrible but not great. Whatever, 3 days of unclean food doesn't make a difference.
-sick workout today. Deads were great as well as push presses. Probably cuz I ate more carbs the last few days, so my muscles were fuller.
-My hip is bugging me, not sure if I can lift tomorrow.

First I have to get in haha. I think I have a OK shot at them both--my scores are high enough and i have some OK extracurriculars. I just have to write an execellent essay. Maybe I'll get in, maybe I won't..
I'm definitely applying to NW and probably to Chicago. If I can get kosher food everyday at either school, I would strongly consider going there. If I can't, it's probably not gonna work.
I'm just focusing now on getting in, you know?

I liked the tours; they both looked like great places to go to school. We didn't go to the UC library, but I remember the guide mentioning something about how they have the most volumes/books out of any library in America. Not exactly sure, though.

Upenn,Cornell, WashU, UF, johns hopkins,NYU.
I don't think I have a great chance at getting into any school other than UF, but you only need to get into one, right?

no workout today, my hip has been bothering me the whole week and it's feeling worse today. Hopefully I'll br able to lift on sunday.

Wow, all excellent choices. You can't go wrong with any of them. Best of luck to you!! What happens if you get into ALL of them? That would be a tough choice.

hip feels much better;I walked about 2.5 miles today and it felt fine. Should be good for tomorrow's workout. Also, I just ordered practical programming. Should be a good read.
