Comments:
-my legs are destroyed from yesterday, so I couldn't run. So I did pull today, and I'll do push tomorrow.
-Pullups were good. Good form.
-a lady decided to bring her dog to the gym. So the whole time I'm doing my rows, I get nervous that the damn dog is gonna walk to me and is gonna get hit with my barbell.
-tried overhead shrugs--kept the weight light, but these were really easy.
-I was gonna do some rack pulls, but I've hit my lower back pretty hard this week.
-I did the elliptical for a bit, just to get some blood flow to my legs.
-I liked this workout--I definitly felt it in my back. When I get back from my trip, I may do something like:
Sun-legs(deadlift focus)
Mon-push
Wed-Legs(squat focus)
Fri-Pull

V-Grip Pushdown
1x12xstack
1x9xstack
2x8x15 plates
Comments:
-good workout. A little bit weird, though, because my shoulders were very sore from the overhead shrugs I did yesterday.
-satisfied with how bench is moving. In the last 3 weeks I've gone from 145x10 to 160x8
-Rack pulls were nice. Back is WAY stronger now, these went up fast. Only problem was my grip. I was good for 3x8 if I coulda held on.
-DB Squeeze press was OK. Kinda of awkward. I like neck presses more for isolating the pecs.
-Lat raises were very tough, feeling them now.
-pretty exited for my trip. Going to Israel with my family for 2 weeks. Should be awesome. I'm not gonna worry about working out or eating clean(Kosher Burger King!). A 2 week break should be good, as I have been busting my ass for the last 2-ish months(and especially the last 3.)
-last workout on sun, as I leave on monday.

Good progress PA, everything seems to be running well for you at the mo. Enjoy Isreal.
Bit of coincidence, just before I read your log i was reading that my team are about to sign an israeli international - Yossi Benayoun.

-Meh. Wasn't really feeling it today.
-20 rep squats were tough, but easier than the last time I did them. The worst part is that my back feels like its on fire on the last 5 reps.
-nothing special to report.
-2 week trip starts tomorrow, Next workout will be around the 4th of july.

Good work man.

I *love* jetlag. I just try to sleep as close as possible to my usual sleeping time, and wake up at my normal waking times on the first few days, and try to get as much exposure to sunlight as possible. This usually gets me back to local time in a couple of days.

don't be discouraged about your pullups/chins. if you're gaining weight, and performing close to the same number of reps, you're getting stronger, b/c you're adding bw.

you're probably right, I just like being able to up reps every workout.
7.4.07
Weight:175
Snatch Grip Deadlift-90 sec rest
1x8x225
1x7x225
1x5x225
Superset
Front Squats
2x5x170
Pull-ups
1x8xBW
2x4xBW
2 sets of curls.
Comments:
-mehhh. I haven't worked out in 2 weeks and felt very rusty today.
-Deads were OK though, I like these. Only problem is my damn grip.
-front squats/pulls sucked though. Started feeling nauseous(this almost never happens), so I cut the workout short.

1x5ex25e
1-leg Squat(heel elevated
1x5exBW
1x5exBW
5 free minutes
3 sets of Straight-Arm pulldowns supersetted with leg extensions.
Comments:
-started CW's new program today. Interesting stuff. The premise is that you lift for 10 days straight, then you take off 5 days where you grow alot.
-this was totally different than anything I've ever done, especially all the unitlateral work.
-1-legged squats were very tough. I'll go for a smaller plate next time.
-my upper back is destoyed from the snatch grip deads. Ow.
Side Comment
- this video pisses me off and saddens me at the same time.

Comments:
-another interesting workout. I like these workouts as they are in-and out. 40 minutes tops.
-I can see how this is gonna get harder and harder. This was a bit tougher as I was sore from yesterday.
-I can't get to they gym tommorow, but I can workout at home as its the light day(20ish reps per set). I have a pullup bar and some DBs, so I'll manage.
