I think I'm gonna use today as a complete rest day. My hip is not 100 percent yet, and I want to fully recover. I'll do some type of cardio tomorrow.

My back/traps is destroyed from the deads, pull ups and shrugs...and my chest is sore even though I only did 11 reps of bench total...weird.

BW-bodyweight
90 sec. rest between sets

Lunges
3x8ex115

Step-ups
1x8x40e
2x8x45e

Neck Press
1x9x120
1x8x125
1x7x125

Reverse Grip Bent-Over Row

BB Biceps Curl
3x8x60

V-Grip Triceps Pushdown
3x8x?(forgot to look at plates)

Calf raises
10x10x115 with 15 seconds rest between sets.

Comments:
-I felt like lifting today, so I did. Good workout. Not as intense as 3x5, but challenging.
-I did unilateral work for legs because it makes my legs grow. Haven't done step-ups in a while. I can use 50s next time.
-I like Neck Presses. Hit the pecs well.
-I added on the calf workout from Men's Health. Not too hard, I'll do it with
135 on friday.
-Diets going well. Eating big/clean.

thanks! I've been dicking around with the eating and I'm finally eating more.

4.2.07
Weight:173

Pullups
1x11xBW-PR

Deadlifts
1x5x135
1x4x225
1x2x275
1x1x295

20 min stationary bike

Comments:
-I don't want to push my hip by running, so I went to the gym instead.
-Pretty happy with 11 pullups. Every night I'll do like 5x5 wide grips while I am studying. It's working.
-deadlifting was fine. My form sucks though. I can't get that arched back in the start position, and I also lean forward too much.

thanks!

3.3.07
Weight:172

100 m sprint x1
suicidex1
block long sprint x3

Wide-Grip Pull-ups
6x7xBW

Comments:
-Quick cardio workout since I'm very busy studying.
-did sets of pullups while doing my HW(Mock Chem AP Exam). After each problem set, I'd go to my pullup bar and knock out a set. They are moving along nicely.

3.4.07
Weight:171
TBT
Workout C-1

setsxrepsxweight
e-each hand/each leg
BW-bodyweight
120 sec. rest between sets

Squats
2x15x155

Good Mornings
1x15x100
1x14x100

Incline DB Bench
1x15x50e
1x14ex50e

Cable Seated Rows
2x15x26 Plates

DB Hammer Curls
2x15x20e

Decline DB Triceps Extension
1x15x20e
1x11x20e

Calf raises

10x10x135 +20 with 15 seconds rest between sets.

Comments:
-Wow, this was tough. High reps suck. Also, I'm operating on very little sleep right now, so that probably didn't help.
-squats were brutal. Got pretty deep. I did them as breathing squats.
-Cut GM's short as my form was going to shit. Got a lower back pump from the squats/GM's(ouch)
-I like TBT so far.WAY harder than a upper-lower split. My killer leg workouts(heavy box squats, bulgarians, heavy back extensions, pullthru's) from about a month or 2 ago were easier than this. I think I will get bigger after a month of this.
-Not sure I if will lift on sunday, I have SAT2s and a college fair. We'll see...

Yo, know Ive been out of touch for a while but good to see you making some steady progress. One thing though, when you get to 190 you better be presing more than 225. As far as the eats, I know ill get flammed but take it from someone who just went from 168 to 185(190 at night on a full belly), you have to eat maddddd carbs man. I mean I ate about a box of whole wheat pasta, two multigrain bagels and 2 cups of rice a day at the bare minimum. Specially after your workout, just pound carbs from after your workout till bed. I tried the whole high fat deal and went from about 168 to 172 in like 7 weeks. I was going up about 1.5-2 lbs a week after I switched to high carb. Its just my 2 cents, dont have to take it.

But anyways, keep hittin that shit hard man, 190 will come. I was 145 with rocks in my pockets at 17.

Good to see you back here man.

I agree with you about the carbs...I'm not really going high fat, but going for a somewhat balanced diet. Most of my fat is coming from Peanut Butter, which is great for bulking. I'm doing the post-workout thing already...After my workouts I'll having like 3 huge bowls of ceraeal/milk with a ton of honey added in addition to protein. It's working great and is really helping my recovery.

I'll get 190 soon, I really don't have trouble getting bigger.

10 min walking on treadmill with steep incline.
DB snatches(going light, worked up to 50)

Comments:
-my hip feels better today, but not 100 percent. I think running aggravates it, so I'm gonna do other forms of cardio for a while.

Hey man, haven't stopped by in a while. Nice progress! One more exam to go and then I'm done. Right now, its just reviewing some stuff I'm not too sure about then going in and wishing for the best. Good luck on the rest of your exams! Hope you've done well on the ones you've taken already and the SATs. Let us know how you do.

Thanks! Today's AP US test is just the beginning...i got 2 next week. I'm actually looking forward to taking the AP US test in about an hour because I've prepared pretty well and I enjoy the class...I'm such a loser
