Usually the first workout is worse than the others... it's just the changeup. I usually don't get away without some DOMS, but this isn't as awful as it has been in times past (ie, needing meds from a doc).
I'll survive.
shyeah... right...
and monkeys might fly out my butt....

Yup first workouts are always the worst - they point out all the stuff you need to work on. But at least then you get the opportunity to see the results as you're improving.

july 4th
ok, I'm a bit behind on updates.
early evening... calibrated nike+ again
400m walk
400m run
oh, I started the run great, then about half way in it got brutal, I'm an ijit. but it worked.
later evening... B lift
warmup
treadmill 5 min
high knee
high leg
deadlift
warmup 75x5
warmup 95x3
125x7
115x8
115x8
traveling lunges
bwx8eax3
good mornings
warmup 20x5
warmup 30x5
45x8
45x8
50x8
rdl
warmup 75x5
warmup 95x3
125x6 (grip limiting factor)
125x8 (with straps)
125x6 (with straps)
reverse crunches (ended up supersetting with rdls, cuz I was waiting for straps to be brought to me.)
10x3sets
aparently I don't have heartrate monitor info for the lift.
I've learned it's stupid, very stupid of me to have deads, romanian deads, and goodmornings all in one workout. that sucked for my back. rearranging the workouts so that's no longer the case.

cycle class "aerobic endurance"
I loved this class... I just got on the bike... worked a bit... and then I could just coast....
51:27, avg HR 129
it was a little light, but my knees were an issue, as was my ankle, till I realized those clips are such shit they screwed with my legs. came out of the clips, all pain gone. but that was 5 minutes before end of class so... *shrug*
next time I'll know

July 9
thanks. at least I'm just not posting them... it used to be that i'd not post them, then not workout. :p
anywho...
I'm trying to get in some cardio in the morning, mostly to do a bit of metabolism starting in the morning, but also to wake my sorry butt up. If it's a significant amount of work, like intervals, I'll count it as such for the challenge. If it's not, and more steady-stateish (since it'll be short) I'll count every 2 or so as 1 for the challenge.
This morning was 15 minutes on the elliptical, avg HR 130. I'll count it as .5 steady-state.
Should be lifting tonite. Was gonna last night, but we were going pretty good with our "get the house ballast under control"/organizing project, so we kept at that instead.

Major part of my personal goal --DONE!
And my site is up. It's not 100%, and I am missing an image because I don't like any of the pics I have of the piece so I'll have to take more, but still. It's wholly done by me, no help from the hubby, just the book i learndt from. (My html skilz before now were oldskool, which, of course, in unacceptable. but that's what you get when the last time you made html was during the browser wars... (96ish...) damn I be oooold.)
Anywho...

Monkeys = Awesome
You = Awesome
You = Monkey?
I can't use the straps on the bike pedals because of my leg. It makes for a better workout in my small experience.
