Where in the world do you find such stuff. I can only imagine what those google search terms are. It was funny that the apple nipple monkey present was nearly dropped on OKLAHOMA.

I'll be honest. I don't do much searching of the web. When I do it is something professional or work related. I simply don't have time to do much leisure reading these days. I have added books on tape for while I am doing Cardio and that is helping some but otherwise, I am almost in a news vaccuum. If it weren't for some of the blogs that I read and JPFitness forums, I would never know what is going on in the world. Thanks to Karky, I even have an idea of what is going on where he lives...

Pfft. I'm a student on summer vaca who doesn't work. TIME is something I do have. Plus, I'm a sick... sick girl. For instance... I can tell the Aristocrats Joke ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T he_Aristocrats_(film)) like nobody's business. I'm just a sick, dirty girl. Prolly shouldn't even be allowed here.

June 3
Bump on a log today.
Ate ok. Haven't sorted out calories, but I'm sure it's acceptable. This weekend I haven't been all that hungry. Considering friday I was ravenous, I'm not sure this is a good thing or not. I've been on cycles of "OMG HUNGRY/barely feel like eating" before and it wasn't all that fun. However, until this seems to be the case, I'm assuming that my lack of being hungry is largely due to my lack of workouts.
So nutrition 6/115/122
everyrhing else the same
lift 1/25
cardio 1/30
etc.
Tomorrow I have a cardio planned during the day, a lift in the evening (deads) and perhaps another cardio after.
Tuesday should be a spin class.
Wednesday is at least yoga, prolly some cardio.
Haven't decided the rest of the week, but there should be another lift (squat) at least, and some more cardio.
I don't forsee any problems eating.
I just wish the fridge would stop freezing stuff... makes salads tough to make, makes eating a bit more tricky and less veggie filled.
kthxbye!

June 4
Brief warmup on treadmill to get legs loose and heartrate to 110ish
Comboset, day4
Sumo Deadlift:
warmup 45x5
warmup 65x5
105x5
105x5
115x5
115x5
115x5
DB Shoulder Press:
warmup 15x5
20x5
20x5
20x5
20x5
20x5
So, this is interesting. Apparently my form is fine everywhere else (according to hubby, who is a fairly reliable source) except the shoulders, where I seem to not be able to keep them back.
I thought it was just that I'm doing them sumo and therefore it *looked* like I had my shoulders forward, but I think he's right, most likely. I think after the first work set, things went downhill a smidge. Likely because of the shoulder presses, because I did feel fatigued after doing them.
So, I'll find something else to put into the combo set so that I don't wear out my shoulders (which apparently doesn't take much) and then do the shoulder presses alone afterward.
Hmm... don't want it to be any of my other lifts for this program... so no squat, rdl, bench, row, pullup, or chin. Preferable no shoulder pushing motions like military press, shoulder press, bench variation, etc. I'll have to think on this one. If I don't come up with anything I may just switch this day to a straight set workout and be done with it. But then it'll take longer and I'll need more rest time in between sets because I won't be alternating exercises.
Anyway, that was about 20 minutes.
Cardio was 5 minutes of stairmill (damn this gets the heartrate up quick) and 10 minutes of rowing... 15 minutes of interval training total. Don't have my log to know the specifics, but it was a good workout.
The sukky part is I didn't get a cardio in earlier in the day because my car died. I think it's the alternator (sp) becuase it'll start if you jump it or if it sits long enough for the battery to recharge... I really don't want to sink more cash into this car.
So, (and this is the related part that makes it worth putting in the *workout* log...) I may just see how one car works for a bit. If I need to, take Otto to work, otherwise any errands I need to run are usually close enough to home to ride to on a bike. That could be a good thing... but still not happy about the car. We live in suburbia... urban sprall around here is getting out of hand... and everything *useful* is not close (they still keep shitting minimalls, plazas, etc all over the damned place, but they're not useful places to be.) It's also somewhat dangerous to ride around here because apparently stupid is a highly virulent disease among drivers. Isn't it everywhere, though?
nutrition was good yesterday, forgot to log, but it's still ok range, from mental notes.
Leaving me with
nutrition: 4/115/122
lift: 2/25
cardio: 2/30 (interval)
Personal: 60 more minutes spent organizing life, for total of 90, not quite the 30 average
all else same.
