(*entire workout, including short warm-up, took 1hr and 14 mins.)
Twisted/sprained ankle feeling much better, but still a bit sore.

Back at the climbing gym. Not a very good climbing day. Weakened by yesterdays workout. My forearms started to give out early and my climbing technique was atrocious.
(*entire workout took about 2 hrs.)

Hey Vik, glad you're back and the ankle is all better! Your workouts are looking great! I'm done with FL-2 and have just started a TT program. I have very high hopes that it will destroy me just as much as NROL did!

I was dragging a bit after 2/3 of the workout. Started lifting at 9pm, which probably too late for me.
Well, that was it for FL-2. I feel like I'm making good gains. Looking forward to the new workouts. Now onto HT-1.

Really felt strong climbing. I was able to pull a 5.12a out of my arse somehow. Maybe it was over rated, since I've never done a 5.12 in my life. Not that it wasn't hard a hell and I fell about 6 times.
(*entire workout took about 3 hrs.)

No problem. You're back. That's what counts. Just keep it going from here on in ...
BTW, great avatar. Badass.

I notice your resting HR is quite variable....is it taken first thing in the AM when you wake up, or right before you start to workout?
And K-Court is right, badass AV!

grepat, thanks for the congrats - I hope I can get back into the groove again. It sure feels good to hit the iron once more. BTW I like the AV too.

I take my HR just before I begin workout, although, it might be interesting to also check morning HR.
I'm not sure what variability your speaking of; I thought my HR was pretty consistent (~high 60's to low 70's). The only spikes I did notice were on my Jog/Run day (11/16/07) with a "low" HR and my Break-In workout on day (11/14/07) with a "high" HR. I'm not sure what happened, but I did contributed that 93 resting bpm HR to running 2mi. "before my" workout.
I don't think it's a problem. I've always been in good health, so I just figured it was an anomaly - like the first time I started FL2 (April 2007) and my Peak HR hit 232.
But if you have any thoughts/concerns, please let me know - I'm far from infallible.
Cheers!

I probably just noticed the spikes...oops I was just curious about the time of day b/c it makes a large difference. I usually go low 50s just after waking up but am in the 60s much of the day. You had a peak HR of 232?!?!? Is that even mathematically possible by the "220 - your age" formula...that'd put you at -12 years old

Hey Viknord, looks like you're keeping up with the regimen. Good work, man. It's not always easy staying the course but you've been really regular with your workouts. Excellent stuff.
LOL on that 232 HR. I'm amazed you made it through that. Yikes.

(*Bodyweight = 187.5 lbs. [morning weigh-in]. Entire workout, including short warm-up, took 35 mins.) Goofed and did Workout A instead of B. Really felt sick to my stomach after workout, as well as light-headed for 30 mins. or so after. Physical fitness degraded.

Well, today's a new start, man. Don't look back, look forward - and stay consistent from here on in. It's in you; just execute.

OK, man, you're on page 2 - you need to post again! It's been 2 days ... remember that consistency thing.
