Awesome plan Julie!

How were the clean sheets? and LOST? We tivo all of "our" shows but sometimes watch them live or a few minutes delayed (to skip commercials). I crashed around 8:30pm so I don't know if dh watched or not. Guess I'll find out tonight and watch tomorrow if I'm the lagging one. I still can't believe that the Australian girl and Jack are siblings!

This morning's workout was AWESOME!!! It was from Anthony DiLuglio's Newport DVD ... I can't imagine being fit enough do to the entire thing!!
Here's what I did ...

Supersets with no rest between exercises. 1 minute rest between supersets. Each exercise done for 30 sec; each superset done x 4 (4 minutes total). 20 minutes total. Sweat dripping and gasping for breath!

A1: Cossack Lunge
A2: Squat Thrust Snatch

B1: Squat Press
B2: One Arm Swing

C1: Two Hand Swing
C2: Hot Potato

D1: Side Snatch
D2: Overhead Lunge

OK, I had planned to stop by everyone's journals, but I'm being pestered to play Candyland ... sigh ... no Mommy-time today!!

Well, I never puked, my stomach just hurt and I felt like I was going to ... didn't eat my last two meals ... I was afraid!! Slept poorly ... so attempted to sleep in this morning ... but my girls were up at about 6:15 so no real sleeping in ... GRRRR!!!! I am bringing them to my parents' in a while and will do my intervals when I get back ... thinking about doing them as burpees today ... we'll see how my breakfast is sitting I guess!!

Julie: Voice of experience --don't push it! This is a nasty thing. Trust me. Rest and listen to your body so you can recover faster. You're already in a weakened state from being sick recently. Short term sacrifices = long term success!

Yeah, when I had that stomach thing a while back I laid off the hard workouts. Why not do some stretching and mobility work?

OK ... OK ... OKAY!!!! I am still feeling a bit weak and woozy ... breakfast is sitting okay, but I just want to curl up and take a nap ... I should be vacuuming while I have the house to myself, but instead I am on here farting around (not literally!! ) ... I hate housework ... procrastination ... procrastinayaytion is such a fun game ...

Oh ... the Bridal shower was alright I guess ... it was nice to see some of the people I hadn't seen in a while, but I just hate those things. Why do men get to have stag parties while women have showers? It's just not fair!!

Yesterday just sucked in general ... after the shower I had two clients to see ... the first one was really a new client but she wasn't that way in the computer system. So I started in ... I was there about 2 hours, and had basically finished the paperwork ... when the computer would give me an error when I tried to save it!! So I had to scrap it and redo it later at home ... F$%#!!!!!! My next client was fine ... I got there at 5:00 and was out of there and home by 6:30 ... then had nearly 3 1/2 hours of paperwork when I got home. I was up until nearly midnight doing paperwork. Slept like crap. Still feeling EXHAUSTED!!!

So I don't think I'm going to try to cram a workout in today when I feel like this. My program has an "optional" interval day in addition to a full rest day, so I'll just skip that and bump everything else up a day ... so I'll start the program tomorrow. That way I can spend today making sure I understand all the ins and outs (some of the interval stuff is different from what I've done before) and hit it hard tomorrow. I can also catch up on all my housework today (there are MOUNDS of laundry to fold) and get to bed early so I am fully rested for the workout. I am so out of kilter after this weekend!! ARRGGGHHH!!! I hate that. Stupid shower!
