Default The summit countdown...... BIOTCHES!

I'm fat..... I don't need to be for the summit.....so this is to get my ass in gear.

I've gotten fat... well, I've gained back everything I've lost since the beginning of the year. I'm not happy.

I'm supposed to be starting a test group for Joel Marion. But after seeing other people's experiences with free offers, I'm not going to believe it until I have my program in my hands. I sent my "before" picture in last night. I tend to store my fat at my belly button and love handles. My legs don't have much fat, it's all concentrated right there.

The goal is to do something every day.

Saturday February 17

Foam Rolling/Stretching/Mobility Work/Scapular Work

Sumo Deadlifts
3x8 @ 225

Seated Wide Grip Rows
3x8 @ 180

Bench Press
3x8 @ 185

I'd never done better than 5x5 on the BP. I was impressed with myself.

Sunday February 18

50 pushups
50 lunges (each leg)
All in 8 minutes

Probably could have done this faster; but I ate a lot and was afraid of pukeage.

I'm waiting on the info from Joel too. It should be good but like you I'll get excited when I have the plan in my hands. Good timing with the summit coming up.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it too. I just wish that didn't have the major that required a lot of time. If it was like it was my first two years of school, it would be so much easier. makes me really wish that I had the convenience of fixing my own food like i have this year with the free time I had last year. I'd be at the rec center 24/7.

thanks, I'm hoping not to recognize myself. I want abs of steel. and with abs of steel come women of good looks. the abs are like an uncovered magnet.

Monday February 19

50 Pushups
50 Lunges

Did them before bed. Should have kept the time, but I was worried about my readings for class, so I was reading about the Korean war between sets. I wish I was this motivated all of the time.

Tuesday, February 20

Foam Rolling/Stretching/Mobility Work/Scapular Work

Split Squats
3x10 @ 95
Ow

Bench Press
3x10 @ 175
PR here again. My shoulder felt really good, no clicking. Of course, it's going to be 60 tomorrow, so if I get the itch to go throw a baseball, that could all change.

Close Grip Rows
3x10 @ 165
Kept my body still and my chin up.

Planks/Side Planks

apparently they now make you wait in line to get a treadmill no matter how busy. eff that, I'm going to make it my personal goal to steal treadmills from people in line from now on when I run. It's all about survival, not courtesy. I refuse to yield to a sorostitute (apologies to the good ones) with her tights and the latest issue of Cosmo.

Thursday February 22

Foam Rolling/Stretching/Mobility Work/Scapular Work

DB Split Squats
3x10 @ 45 (EH)
Should have used 40s to get to 12 reps

Bench Press
3x12 @ 165

Wide Grip Seated Rows
3x12 @ 165

Core work

I want to go to sleep. But I can't, I have to go work. Ugh.

Saturday February 24

Foam Rolling/Stretching/Mobility Work/Scapular Work

Sumo Deadlifts
5x5 @ 235
the goal here originally was to do 3x8, but that didn't work. why? I don't know. I felt like on the first couple of sets that I wasn't getting my glutes into it. I know that may not make any sense, but I just felt like I wasn't working them. The last couple sets I could feel it though.

DB Bench Press
3x8 @ 85
I might have been able to get 90s here. But my shoulder is a little sore from playing catch yesterday so I wasn't going to push it. Felt good, no popping, pain free. Very happy.

Neutral Grip Chinups
5x5
I was bored and didn't want to do any rows.

Core work

the rec center was buuuuuuuuuuusy because of the "show me state games" today. There were people everywhere all around the pool and basketball courts. the weight room was fairly empty though.

one thing was weird though. the "attendant" or whatever in the weight room was a good looking female. ok, whatever. but one guy that was working out must have known her, because he went and got her for every set of his pullups. He made her put her hand on his back for every rep. and then he made her spot him for his burnout curls. what a weirdo.

awesome... long time since I updated

played ball instead on Tuesday. I hadn't in a while and it showed.... I need to keep playing (speed/stamina wise. I still got the shot).

Thursday March 1

Foam Rolling/Stretching/Mobility Work/Scapular Work

Split Squats
5x5 @ 115
I could have gone up more here I think. I was surprised

Close Grip Rows
3x10 @ 165
I think I was only getting 8 reps before

Close Grip Pushups
3x15
didn't feel like waiting around for a bench to do DB bench presses, so I went with the pushups instead (which I would have done at home tonight anyway)

busy day... busy day tomorrow, going home for the weekend, working out Sunday morning. looking forward to seeing my at home gym buddies.

I should do 5x5 with 90s next time

Chinups
5x5

Swiss Ball Jackknifes
3x10

nope. stuff didn't get to me. I had forgotten about that. maybe I should check my spam folder on gmail?

and have I done anything today? I just asked myself that question. I think I need to do some foam rolling and pushups. I just polished off some Culver's. not good (for me... it tasted awesome)

nope... nothing in the spam folder, just messages from "sex can" and "josh kane." that sucks big time.

Tuesday March 6

Foam Rolling/Stretching/Mobility Work/Scapular Work

Deadlifts
3x225
3x245
3x275
3x295
1x315
1x325
1x345
Might have left a little on the table here. Oh well, I hadn't DLed conventionally for a while, and this was enough for now. I was bored, the deadlift platform was the only thing open, so I said what the hell and went (semi)heavy.

DB Bench Press
3x5 @ 90
After not really struggling with the 85s, I thought the transition to 90s would be cake. Not at all.

Pullups
3x5
I used to be really good at these. Not anymore

Planks/Leg Raises.

Just finished a 2 hour nap--my fun time for today. Now I have to start studying for a test that I don't know what to study for, write an article, and hopefully hear back on a couple of interviews. Ah, what the hell, PTI is on, time to procrastinate.

I didn't do anything today workout-wise. I didn't sleep much last night, so I took a three hour nap this afternoon in between basketball games.

This weekend is going to a fun weekend full of basketball and more basketball. I can't wait.

The deadlifts are looking good, but I seem to be reading about a lot of napping and watching basketball. Only one month until the Summit "biotch."

biotch.... this was the best weekend of the year, bar none.

I skipped class; got a free pizza lunch and watched four games live Friday. Woke up late Saturday, got a free breakfast buffet, and watched more basketball. Today, I woke up at noon, worked out, watched more basketball and then NASCAR. And I got to hang out with some pretty fun people. Can't complain one bit about the last three days.

Anyway.....

Sunday March 11

Foam Rolling/Stretching/Mobility Work/Scapular Work

Split Squats
3x8 @ 115

DB Bench Press
3x10 @ 85 (EH)

Close Grip Rows
3x10 @ 165

Planks/Leg Raises

Back to the grind tomorrow, but tournament week is more fun that work. Thursday and Friday will be a blast.

Whoa, two 8-packs? That's one egg for every kick in the nuts he deserves for slacking off.
