Depending on the location I end up at, a visit in the not so distant future aren't out of the question.

Any clue on where you're PCSing to, Tony?

Not so much. It looks like I was passed over for an overseas (which is freaky weird considering I had Spang and Ramstein on my list) or I have a RIP floating in the nimbus of space (although nothing on the vMPF), so it'll almost certain to be stateside. The new list comes out on the 8th, cycle closes May 15th. There's a possibility I'll get a McDill job I volunteered for (equal plus, closes on the 20th).
So "no" really. It'll be with English speakers and Walmart though.

Funny how much I missed both of those when I was in Korea....
Personally, I think the vMPF is for shit. It's never proved useful to me in the slightest. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

vMPF = Yeah...yeah *sigh*.
We're being supported locally by a unit being supported by Spang. I miss being the top of the chain, this bottom of the chain stuff is for the birds.

Run 2mi + 2mi

Feeling good. The metabolic work\running is kind of draining, but I've slept well the past few nights so all is well.

I second what Jimbo said. 21 reps on a deadlift is insane, and those box jumps sound brutal too. Nice work.

There was a pause in each set of the deadlifts, so it wasn't all that cool Thanks for the kind words though. I've been letting my endurance and running slip off the map for a little while so hopefully in a few weeks some of that stuff will be more legitimate(ly impressive). Biggest thing with the box jumps is just repetition. If you do them 1-2x a week, in 3 weeks you're pretty decent at them. At the very least they're WAY easier than 3 weeks prior!

Even so, Tony, 21 at 225 is pretty damned amazing. Good stuff.
