I looked at this one and threw up in my mouth a little. I started with 88lbs on the FS\PP combo but it really felt wrong so I dropped the extra weight. The 10reps with that really took it out of me though. After the first round I was able to pick up some steam and it wasn't *as* bad. It still sucked...a lot.

man, that looks tough.

Very impressive too. Look at the legs on this guy...jeez. I better take Car Lifts out of my routine because I don't want to get too bulky.

oh my. How does that guy doing the car lifts find any pants that fit. lol
I love the look of your WO's. The sand bag and such. Seems like it would keep it interesting.

My question is, is the car lift so popular that someone manufactures equipmetn for it?

2x1.5mi run
the first one was a legitimate run, complete with dry heaves. Welcome to training...damn.
second one was more of a determined shuffle jog which required a break. All around satisfied.
I'm weighing in at 167.5. I want to be 155 on 18 February. A 12lbs drop in 6 months seems pretty doable. That process starts officially on Monday.
The aggressive goal is to get my 11:15 --> 8:59. I'll do up the charts later to see what sort of monthly requirements that ends up being.
lifty> If you can find something that you're enthusiastic about then you're 1K times more likely to succeed than those around you. My sessions don't really have a lot of point but to keep me active ...which I reckon is really good enough at the end of the day.

Figured out I need to drop 22 seconds a month to get under 9 in Feb. If I drop 16 then I'll be at 9:36 = last year. It's kind of funny that 16seconds seems very doable but an additional 6seconds seems like it's really pushing the boundary! We'll see.

you have to find someone who does strongman equipment make it. It's just an apparatus that you drive the car on.

Circuit 4rounds each before moving on. Max reps x 30 seconds\Static Hold
DB Swing 44lbs\Bar Hang
OH Press 22lbs\pushup hold
V-Up\Dead Roach
Box Jump\Parallel Squat Hold
Notes:
Sort of went through the motions on this one. My back was tight this weekend then about round 3 of the DB swings it loosened up. Pretty much a non-motivated Monday! I should have used considerably heavier weight for the swings and the presses.

Probably made the right choice, not knowing your back would loosen up.

Yeah, I'm not going to get too beat up about it. I hate "time" routines because I tend to be a slack ass. Give me number of reps and I'm fine, give me a time limit and the whole routine goes in the shitter. There was some legitimate soreness but a lot of it was lazy
I tested out my sled yesterday, put the kids on and drug them around for a little while. Made my butt sore.

Careful not to do too many reps when you pull. Might not loose fat.

I hate "timed" routines too. I would rather have a set number of reps to hit. Also, I'm always listening for my watch to beep to tell me the timed period is over, thus I can't listen to my iPod.
Your new avi is how I feel this morning.
