Good luck on the new program Kevin. You really gonna go for 3 PR zones right off the bat?
I'll be watching with interest as I'm looking at doing an EDT program next too. You'll be shredded by Summit time.

Well, I have been doing HIIT for 3 or 4 weeks, so cardiovascularly I feel good. I will see what happeneds, but for me even Chad Waterbury's "Get Lean without Dieting" wasn't too taxing.
based on my experience 3 PR's in a row will be tough, but tougher yet will be the Lunges followed by the step ups. Not saying you cant do it, but it will be KILLER. Thats a lot for your legs and you will be spent half way through the lunge cycle.
Give it a go though and see how you do. Best way to learn is by trying it yourself

It wasn't too bad. But since the workout I really just want to go to bad.
But, I must talk to the man himself for nexts weeks FitCat tonight... Oh wait, thats not a bad thing!
That's awesome about getting Staley on to give another EDT explanation. . . it is a concept that just seems so easy that people scoff at it. Good luck with it man, can't wait to hear the Staley podcast.
EDT is awesome, I must say. And good on you for doing 3 PR zones. Are ye daft, laddy?
I've been pretty hard at it lately and doing EDT for my 4th week, and I have only now phased in 15 minute PR zones, and have only done up to 2 zones in a single workout, so my hat is off to you, young'un.
I'm really looking forward to trying me some EDT and show up that JP guy at the Summit.

Believe it or not you will do more reps the second week and the worouts will start to seem easier. The third or fourth week is when it starts to get hard to crank out even 1 or 2 more reps.
I have to give you credit for just starting out you took on some pretty intense pairings.

This should get interesting... But I think with proper nutrition, some beta-alanine, creatine and sleep, I will be able to do it. And get those "riptz abs" We will see...
Will you be putting in the forced reps or drop set protocol mentioned in the Bill Hartman interview? Where would you put it and during which phase of the program?
