The accident happened at my gym a little while back. I was squatting, just getting warmed up for my working sets, when some jerk backed into my bar. I had 175lbs loaded on it and someone was walking behind me. Needless to say twisting like that with a fully loaded bar didn't feel to great. Thankfully I'm back in action though I am choosing to take it easy and not rush back up to my previous lifting numbers.
Oh. My. Lord. Who the hell could possibly have been so unbelievably blind???

You're lucky you survived intact--and he's lucky you didn't kill him (I mean tear him apart with your bare hands).

I'm drooling over your lat pulldowns. I have so much work to do with my pulldowns (and my cable rows, and my BB rows...oh, I guess with everything!).

Great WO--I'm glad it felt good, Jenn.

Thanks Sona. I really really wanted to rip the guy a new one. However I restrained myself being a medic and all it would not be so good for the career. I believe my pull ups are what really helped me with the rows and pulldowns. I did a set of reg unassisted pullups then a set of negatives and so on earlier in my training.

Seems as though you are feeling better? I hope so; I have been thinking about you lately.

I was wondering if you could find time to call the Family office on a weekly basis, just to annoy them and let them know you aren't going away. It might do you some good to work as hard to get your money as Ian is working to get out of paying?

I hope you get to make it to the summit so I can hug your skinny neck!

I have been calling them every two weeks. The only problem with that is that you are usually on hold for 1/2 or more. I do it any way but I would rather be at the gym, since I refuse to call when my kids are home. No need for them to know what is going on. Oh and get this, he moved into the house he bought this weekend, while he had the boys, and get this... it has like 4 bedrooms and magically they are getting a big screen tv. How is this right?

On another note I just sent out 6 resumes to the services around the area. Hopefully I get some calls backs. Tough competion out there between us medics to get into a good service. Crossing all fingers and toes! I hope I get my first choice as it is closer to home. The other ones require a good two hour drive each way. That would make it a 16 hour day.

Thanks Jamie Even if I only get casual part time its good. If I work just five days a month that is more than enough for us to live off of. God it would be a God send if I get in with NEMS, but I applied everywhere that I could possibly drive to. So far seven resumes out. I'm even going to apply out where my brother lives. At least I would have a place to stay.

No word yet on the child support issue. All they can tell me is that they sent him a letter and if he doesn't respond then they take his license. After that if he still doesn't respond they will take him to court. So basically a repeat of last time. On another side of it my oldest doesn't want to talk to him when he calls, not sure why, but his Dad is getting assholish about the whole thing.

My gym membership ran out just before last week. That sucked big time!! Just was able to scrap together $30 to renew it yesterday. I am currently sidelined with one heck of a cold though. So no gym until that clears up. My nose is soooo sore and I can't stop sneezing! Seems to be wanting to settle in my chest, oh and this morning lost my voice. That'll be great for work right. I don't think sitting in a cold arena for a few hours is helping it either. Thank God I have nothing booked for the weekend. The small amount I make from these gigs is not worth getting sicker for so hopefully by Monday I will be ok. Knock on wood!

Been working out at home, haven't logged it though. It is nothing too impressive. Light weight and body weight circuits until I feel better, and if I can handle it.

Hmmmm haven't logged any workouts because of the cold etc, my workouts have been just done at home and nothing to write home about. At least I kept my self moving though thats the most important thing.

I have just received a workout specifically catered to me and what my goals are. A lot of it is going to be very new for me, especially the warmups and post workout stretches. I have to say I am really excited about this. So starting Tuesday I will begin the new Jenn Workout. Woohooo this will be fun
