Evening METCON
75 Burpees for time

7:10.8

These were to the floor w/ pushup, but minimal jump, owing to the low ceiling.

2007-12-26 Max-Effortish Stuff?

One leg, no waiting
Single-leg Squat (To Chair) (Bodyweight)x10x3
Single-Leg Romanian Deadlift (hands to ground)x8x3
Pushups 30x3

This is the Single-leg Squat progression from Dos' Power Training.
On the Romanians, my abductors seemed to give out towards the end of each set. Butt is nicely sore now.

5 Rounds for time of
10 Doorway Rows (Leaning back with a palms-out grip. Increased lean to where 10 was just about my limit)
20 pushups
30 situps (Air Force)
40 bodyweight squats

2007-12-29 Midday METCON?

Generous Definition of Run 2mi

I couldn't seem to find a good groove, so at 400m I made the executive decision to to telephone pole inter..er... Telephone Pole Trots, 2 poles running my usual 400m pace, 1 pole walking. Worked out to be roughly a 45-on 30-off interval.

1. 11:23.4
2. 13:06.1

24:29.4

New distance for me. I'm not sure why I couldn't find a comfortable pace. Above walk, I just went into my interval pace, which I suppose is Good given my overall goals, but it felt a bit odd to only have creeper and OD gears available to me.
