Oh, today was a very special day; DH drank his FIRST CUP OF COFFEE EVER. I know, how is this even possible? And furthermore, how did I, the queen of caffeine, marry a non-java afficianado?

LOL!
I was and always have been a tea afficianado, but over the past year my coffee junky hubby has transformed me into a straight up black coffee drinker...He's so proud

Truth be told, I didn't drink coffee until a few years ago. My experiences with coffee growing up involved church basements and giant percolators. Now I'm a snob enough to think that that is not really coffee, in any dimension. I've gone from sweet & creamy coffee drinks to straight espresso at times. (come to think of it, I've also progressed from a pina colada girl to rum & coke and pretty pink dbs to cold steel & black... I see a pattern!)

Victoria, are you coming to California? Say yes!

So this morning:

BB swings x16/3
Floor wipers oly bar x16/3

Box squats 5x125,5x130,5x135/3

Yeah!

GHR 5x3
Scissor jumps 5-6/leg x3

BB curl oly barx8,50x6/2
Triceps OH rope kickout 48x10/3

Done!

Burned a whopping 136 calories in 35 mins.

Then I went to graduation and got my hang-worthy residency completion calligraphized frou-frou certificate. Today is low carb day, so the lunch at Rudy's smokehouse was full of yummy smoked meat (mmmm brisket...).

DH is in town, as is mom. My house is FULL.

OK, if you start drinking boilermakers, Brenda... we have to talk.

What is a pretty pink db???

I'm assuming we aren't talking about dumbbells here. Those would be kind of hard to drink

In the gym the lightest DBs are often pink, kind of a code for 'way too light weights'

Okay so welll color me a different hair color than Brunette. I saw the rum and coke part of this and Tina's mention of Boilermakers and just strung it alll into one big drinkfest of some sort. Heaven forbid I actually pay attention to what I read.

THank you both! I can't believe that once my boards are done, I'm through with training until I sub-sub-specialize in dermatopathology, which may be in a year, or may be as long as six. We'll see.

If I get to it, I'll upload a pic later from the ceremony. Busy weekend, this one.
