If I just had a caffeine infusion pump... life would be so much easier.

So I finished my anger book last night. OK, I skimmed the last little bit, mainly because it went off on this tangent about his holiness JC, which just made me angry, actually. I want to know how I, a NON-religious person, can handle MY anger. I don't want to hear about the lord's bottomless repository.

So, I will now be ordering my second, SECULAR, anger management book.

Of course there is more coffee. Why would a bigger one cost more if the only difference was water? Blasphemy!!!!!

I could never do 4 shots though

I suppose the world isn't ready for the energy explosion that would ensue if I had that much coffee at once! I'm naturally pretty high energy....

A really good book on the subject came out last year. Somehow I managed not to put it on my books to order. Damn! My super memory has always had one major flaw, proper nouns, which include names and titles. Odd. Anyhow should your book be that one how about the title, I really wanted to read it. And I will spend some time trying to track it down. It had really great reviews.

I just ordered "Angry All the Time", which sounds pretty good (and hooooo boy, does that fit me most days lately). I would love to hear about the one you're forgetting at the moment, though, Rob... so if you remember, holla!

Thanks,
Tina

My life is a study in irony, Julie... enjoy!

Here's a nice little military snippet for your entertainment--I had to sign the paperwork for the closing on my husband's/our new house, out where he lives (by the pack of kids I now step-parent). Anyway, Texas law and all... I had to sign on the dotted line on the documents prior to closing despite having nada to do with the actual loan, and I live 5 hours away. Hubs had to overnight ship it, and, of course, I have to get it notarized and ship it back in time for the closing the next day.

No problem. There's a medicolegal floor in the hospital that I'm NOT working at right now, there's a notary there. I proceed to truck my ass across town to be there first thing the morning so I can get it out before noon and hopefully get it there prior to the scheduled closing at 11AM the next day.

I go into the legal office, and notice a sign hanging that says "notary available 0900-1100, 1400-1600". It's now 0820. The enlisted chica at the desk checking her email and surfing the internet tells me, yup, notary service isn't available until 9 AM.

OOoooookay. So I leave, see a patient I had scheduled to see over there, and go back up to the SIXTH FLOOR of the hospital. I'm talking stairs, here. It's now 930. There's another person sitting in the office along with original chica, and I'm figuring that this is the notary public who is now in the office.

I ask if I can get this shit notarized now, and ORIGINAL CHICA pulls out her super-special notary public stamper, and proceeds to give me the third degree (I believe she asked me on THREE separate pages if they were aware I wouldn't be there for the closing. Ummm... duh. THAT would be why I'm having you notarize my signature, dipshit....).

So these are your tax dollars at work. One must switch figurative hats before one can do his/her job, and NEVER outside of the posted hours.

Hahahaha! I would never do such a thing, Julie!

Thanks, Brenda...at least it's a tax write-off. I'll be throwing money away on rent in Cali, who the hell can afford to BUY there?

So, went back through my log hoping that I was wrong, but APPARENTLY I have been remiss in my horizontal pulling; last bout was 5/22. Whoops.

Here's the damage:

I/O mobility warm up (I give myself TWO virtual cookies for this--one peanut butter with dark chocolate chunks, and the other a nice giant oatmeal raisin with walnuts. mmmmmmm...)

Wt asst chins 5x-45,5x-40x2,4x-35,5x-40
I can't believe I still am using this wt assist bullshyte. I can do closer grip chins, probably 3 good ones now, but the neutral grip chins, not so much.

BB swings 16 (8/side)x3
UL stationary lunge w BB on same side barx12/legx3
UL explosive BB shoulder press barx12/sidex3

GHR on SB 3x10
Strt arm lat pull over 12x10,17x10,17x10

Ab wheel roll outs 3x6
Band pull aparts behind neck 3x8

Done.

Good workout. Only 27 mins from start to abs... not counting I/O, of course.
