Thanks, John!
Scott, everything's going O.K, I need to find motivation to work other than a deadline, but I'm managing! Enjoying uni a lot at the moment, our house is awesome, here's a little story from last night that I posted over at MH:
Quote:
Came back last night, around midnight...3 of us downloaded a fire alarm sound and hooked it up to my speakers, ready for the hit.
Two of us go into our rooms, 1 goes into the kitchen and then runs out screaming 'FIRE, FIRE...GET THE **** OUT' at which point I 'set off' the fire alarm and come running out of my room shouting at the same time as the other guy.
We run upstairs, bang on the door of our target and shout 'GET THE **** OUT, THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE', he literally tears down the stairs in a sleep induced zombie state and runs outside...we start running out with him and then close the door...
OWNED!

Thanks for asking! How about yourself?

A. DB Bench Press, 5x5; 82.5/hand
B. Speed Deadlifts, 5x5; 225
C. Rows, 5x5; 154
D. Skull Crushers, 5x5; 77
E. Calf Raises, 5x5; 110, 110, 110, 154, 154
F. Curls, 5x5; 77
Comments: Solid workout, my DB bench pressing is going good, shoulder feels really stable and I'm feeling powerful; perhaps these pushups I'm doing before bed are helping with my scapula and serratus anterior! Speed deadlifts felt fast, I could feel myself accelerating as I came up, I'm definitely more powerful in the top half of the lift.

A. Pushups, 6x3; 77
B. BB Lunges, 6x3; 143, 165, 165, 165, 165, 165
C. Chin-ups, 6x3; 44, 44, 33, 33, 33
D. Leg Curls, 6x3; 165
E. Calf Raises, 6x3; 165, 155, 155, 155, 155, 155
Comments: Pushups are strong, I managed to add 10lbs from last week to all my sets and felt much more solid doing it, too. I switched to lunges instead of front squats today, and I'm glad I did; my form felt awesome, full range of motion with a decent amount of weight...I'll look to add another 10lbs next week and go for it!

Looks good, Ed. Those DB presses are impressive...can't imagine 82.5 DBs in each hand at this point! Nice work.

Thanks, man! The worrying thing is that I know you'll be all over those 82's like a fat man over a cupcake very, very soon knowing how hard you work...I need to bust ass more.

A. DB Bench Press, 5x5; 82.5
B. Deadlifts, 5x5; 308, 220, 264, 264, 220
C. Rows, 5x5; 154, 154, 154, 154, 154, 145
Di. Skull Cruchers, 5x5; 88
Dii. Bicep Curls, 5x5; 88
Diii. Calf Raises, 5x5; 165
Comments: Not bad, DB benching felt very strong, I'll look to move up to the 88's next week, which is as heavy as this gym goes. I mixed the deadlifts up between heavy, speed and moderate weights today, wasn't really feeling the 308 set, and 220 was a little easy.

During the last week, I've had some good sets including:
5 x 5 x 315 DL
5 x 5 x 215 back squat
3 x 10 x BW+15 pull-ups
4 x 8 x BW+80 lbs push-ups
3 x 5 x 85 lbs DB snatch
I'm pretty pleased with my steady strength gains in all of these, and as I mentioned a while ago I'm going to keep working at these before I attempt new PR's. I've finally been getting my form spot on, so I feel I should work on the heavier loading for multiple-rep sets before pushing for PR's again.
Final exams (all take-home type projects and exams) are due this week. The training is the only thing keeping me sane!

Good luck on your exams, Milk. Do you have spring break coming up? And then another term?
Great curl work, Ed. :p

Thanks Fin. Spring Break is right around the corner, and I'm heading out to Jersey for a couple days to see some friends from college. Then it's back to work, since I have one more big preliminary exam when school starts up.

A. DB Bench Press, 5x5; 88, 88, 82.5, 82.5, 82.5
B. Natural Glute-Ham Raises, 5x5; BW
C. Bent-Over Rows, 5x5; 132, 132, 132, 132, 154
D. Tricep Press Down, 5x5; 154
E. Calf Raises, 5x5; 176
F. BB Curls, 5x5; 100
Comments: RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Benching rocked. Glute-ham raises were tough but bent-over rows were too easy, I realised too late and probably should have been in the 170-180 range. Curls and tricep pressdowns are always a pleasure, though.
