I just wish I hadn't done that PSMF diet in the Summer when I dropped from 195 to 182, although I did lose a lot of bodyfat, I probably would have been better carrying on.
So, since October '05 I've gained over 50lbs in total. My bodyfat percentage is creeping up now, though, I'd put it at around 14% or higher.
It's quite cool, before I started my BF% was probably 14%+, now, 42lbs heavier, it's similar.

That is some pretty awesome progress. It's great that you're getting close to the point where you'll be able to be a lean 210 lbs. That was your goal way back when, no?

Yeh, it certainly is/was. I think by the time I've bulked up/cut down, you'll be at 210 or more, haha. Goes to show all the different approaches...
And your progress has been ridiculous...I just don't like to admit it too often!

Haha, although I enjoy being big and getting bigger, I'm looking forward to being lean, big time.

I'm going to start logging my workouts properly again starting tomorrow, today I did 6x3 front squats; all sets at 220 except for 1 at 231. I also managed 3x8/leg with 65lbs/hand on the BSS's.
I stubbed my toe REALLY badly yesterday, so I'm kinda hobbling around like a grampa, that combined with the meltdown of our central heating system makes me a grampa in an igloo...I wore two pairs of PJ's last night, ha!

NROL Hypertrophy II, Upper Body;
Ai. Reverse grip Row, 3x12; 154, 143, 143
Aii. DB Bench Press, 3x12; 66/hand
Bi. Wide grip cable row, 3x12; 100, 88, 88
Bii. Dip, 3x6; BW
Biii. Med Ball Push-up, 3x6; BW
C. Swiss Ball Crunch, 3x12; BW
Comments: Nice workout, the first pairing was tough but I was happy to be using the 65's for two sets, had to really grind out the last rep of the 2nd set so lowered it for the third. The triset was a bitch, the rows weren't really a problem but I took a really wide grip, dips were very tough after the DB BP and the push-ups were pushing me close to failure.
My aim for the next time I do this workout is to use the 71's for 12 reps and to be able to do more dips/pushups in the triset...I had nothing.

shit.
Apparently when you turn 23, you're dropped from your family's membership to the YMCA--even if you're a full-time student living at home. I was hit with this news on the way out today, because my ID has been giving an odd error message when I've been there lately. The lady from card services told me that it's going to be $52 per month just for *me* to lift at the gym--even though my family is already paying +$80 per month for a full family membership.
I'm going to talk to someone in management to see if this can be negotiated at all, but if not, I'll be finding a different gym very soon.

5 x 8 x 205 lbs today on squats, olympic style.
This is good, considering my "max" is 225 still. I'm going to keep working my way up to ideally 5x5x225 lbs before I push for another PR.

New favorite exercise: Dumbbell Snatches
I've done these before just messing around, but I've never focused on them as a work set. I did a few sets of 6x65 lb db's and it felt absolutely great. This is the first exercise other than SLDL's that I really feel my hamstrings contracting first and foremost in order to move the weight. DL's, GM's, and everything related seems to work my glutes and erectors more intensely, but the snatches really challenged my hammies.

I really like DB snatches too. I've never seen anyone else do them at my gym though. First time I did them, my lifting buddy said it reminded him of Saturday Night Fever.

I'm going to a Gold's gym now. Last week I saw one guy doing DB snatches - does look like fun. Also saw another guy doing barbell snatch. And, I've seen plenty of guys doing squats, a few deadlifts here and there. One other guy does the Bulgarian Death Squats regularly. By far, way too many guys pumping up their biceps and shit though. It's pretty funny to watch how intense they get staring at their guns. Maybe if I had some, I'd admire 'em too.

Did some more DB snatches today, and I went up to 80 lb DB's for a few reps. I love it!!! If my hands weren't so torn up right now, I'd try for 85 or 90... but I'll let things heal up a bit before I'm relying so heavily on my hands for that sort of thing.
