Just checking. Looking good, Nick. I have started my HIIT again, as well. It's great and builds up a good sweat.

Thanks John. I sweat more in those 18 minutes than all those effing cardio bunnies do in their two hours on the elliptical reading Cosmo.

I saw a lady in the gym yesterday who actually brought the newspaper.

The chick next to us last night was talking on her cell phone; and pretending to cheer on the Cardinals. Fuck her. If you're a true fan... you're not in the effing gym.... you're actually paying attention to the game. (Can you tell I hate Cardinal fans around here?)
HIIT Bitches
5 minute warmup
4 intervals; 2x30 seconds 2 12.5/2x30 seconds @ 12; 4x30 seconds at 7
5 minute cooldown
Switched it up a little bit. Apparently 12.5 is the top speed of the treadmill. That's probably a good thing. Any faster and I was going to get flung off like a rag doll.

Wouldn't that be more like a turd against the wall? That is, in keeping with your theme.

I would have never guessed you hated the Cards. I'm torn this year. All I know is who ever wins this series I rooting against and going for the Tigers.

I agree. I want to see Detroit win it because that's the model that the Royals should follow if they want to get back to respectability. Find a bunch of young flamethrowers, build from within, and let them loose.

Alright bitches..... last night we were going to go to the gym at around 9 and I was going to do my core workout and run a little... well... we ended up going to IHOP (I love chocolate chip pancakes), watching the game, and drinking a little too much. My roommate was a little plastered last night; despite having as much to drink as I did... maybe a little more wine.... and he was hungover. Wuss.
Friday October 20
DB Bench
6x5 @ 85 (EH)
Chinups
6x5
Deadlifts
3x6 @ 225
That's enough for a backoff week for the legs; time to hit them hard Monday.
OUT!

Monday October 23
Bench Press
8x3 @ 185
Wide Grip Seated Rows
8x3 @ 185
Normally a pullup day but the damn pullup stations were obstructed by fools doing their cable curls
Deadlifts
3x225, 3x275, 3x295, 3x315
I was surprised that I got 315. I originally thought it was 305, but then when I was unracking the weight, I realized it was 315. That works for me.
Some tool came into the "pump room" with his hoodie on and girlfriend in tow. Walked around, did a set of curls right in front of me, and left. I don't get some people.

DB Hammer Curls
2x25 @ 20 (EH)
DB Standing Military Press

Didn't get a chance to go to the rec tonight because of me awesome three hour comlaw take home test. Tomorrow's going to be even worse. But, did the workout with my 20s in my room. Plug the core workout in tomorrow.
OUT!

Friday October 27
Bench Press
7x5 @ 175
Close Grip Rows
7x5 @ 180
Had to go straight BP because there were no benches available and went with the rows because my shoulders had been cranky. Not painful, but they didn't feel right. That may be a permanent change.
Split Squats
3x5 @ 115
Wow. Did these with a bar on my back and I did alright and my balance was pretty good. I used to always fall over, and I failed to mention this earlier, I got a lift for my left foot and I am much more balanced. It's a 7 mm lift, and my right knee pain has been alleviated and I don't come close to falling over all of the time while doing leg lifts now.
OUT! to watch the Cardinals win.....

Thanks biotch. You're still kicking my ass everywhere else.
Saturday October 28
Dumbbell Curls
2x25 @ 20 (EH)
DB Shoulder Press
2x25 @ 20 (EH)
The good ole at home workout again. This week is a deload week and then the four really intense weeks. Whoo hoo.
I'm looking at Hypertrophy 1 from NROL after this. We'll see. I tend to change almost as much as Kevin Larrabee.

Monday October 29
Bench Press
3x3 @ 195
Wide Grip Rows
3x3 @ 195
Lunges
3x10 @ 40 (EH)
Core Booklet (back on that train)
Yes, I know it's a deload week. But I had to move up on the weights. Probably should have started heavier.
