That looks like it could be as brutal as you want it to be.

For rehab, and a lot less expense, they make a tabletop version ...

A friend had a small foot version with adjustable resistance. He loaned it to me and I've been using it on and off today.
My arms feel tired and swole.

My PT said I only have a tiny hole left in my foot.
More arm biking today.

Kbell Complex
25 lb Kbells
7,6,5,4,3,2,1
Overhead Press
Tricep Extensions
Upright Row
Bent Over Row
Curls
I have also been using the arm bike all day. I can only really do five minutes at a time with any real resistance but am trying to reduce the rest intervals.
I'm at loose ends. I would like to volunteer or something but I'm supposed to stay put until my wound totally closes.
I would look for a job, but if/when my start date comes, if I am doing lower paying gov't work I will have to start at only 15% over that rate.
My mobility interferes with taking free lance legal work.
Rear Window has already been written so I can't write a novel about living with your ass in a recliner without getting sued.

I live in interesting times.
The good news is that I start my new job on October 27. I will be on four months probation. I won't be able to do the other things I need to do, finish my divorce and get my ankle rebuilt, until I finish probation. At least I know how long I have to make my budget for.
Bad news is that I popped a blood vessel in my right eye. My vision is greatly impaired in the eye as a result. I will need laser surgery, but I can't see the surgeon until November 21.
Still I need the surgery to correct the problem and to keep it from getting worse or irrepairable.
I didn't know that detached retinas run in my family. This is not a detached retina but apparently is in the same category.
The wound in my ankle is almost healed.

Interesting times is an understatement. I'd be telling Job he could have his trials back. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Ginger told me that my wound has healed today. I have to continue treatment for follow up, but I'm making progress. I'll still need surgery on my ankle.

I spoke to my wife and she is happy for me but she reminded me that when I start working I need to get her name off the joint debts I am paying. I know that, but I have to start working before I can refinance those debts.
