I am still having trouble sleeping and I'm getting anxious for my foot to heal and my job to start.

Got the see The Last Metro with Catherine Deneuve in it today.
Ooh La La!

Workout:

20 lb kbell complex:

7,6,5,4,3,2,1

Overhead Press
Triceps Extension
Upright Row
Bent Over Row
Curls

Crunches: 3 x 20
Reverse Crunches: 3 x 15
Leg Lifts: 3 x 12
Supermans: 3 x 10

It feels good to do something.

PT said foot is in the home stretch whatever that means! I think that I'll just go ahead and touch the televison when the 700 Club comes on.

30 lb Dumbbell Complex

7,6,5,4,3,2,1

Overhead Press
Tricep Extension
Upright Row
Bentover Row
Curls

Crunches: 3 x 20
Reverse Crunches: 3 x 15
Leg Lifts: 3 x 12
Superman: 3 x 10

Upped the weight on complex and I noticed it most on the tricep extensions. Elbow started burning a little.

The thing is, they say things like this to string you along. I don't know what it really means in terms of how long it's going to take and I don't think they do either.

True. But you do have a relative estimate. They don't call mile 12 in a marathon "the home stretch."

Sounds like you're well on the road to recovery - persistence and perseverance paid off.

30 lb Dumbbell Complex

7,6,5,4,3,2,1

Military Press
Upright Row
Bent Over Row
Front Raises
Curls

Skipped triceps extensions because I tweaked my elbow last time. This went well though.

True, but good news if you're thinking positive!

*nods* I remember climbing a mountain once (a very very short "mountain") where a friend infuriated me by continuously saying "we're almost there" when we were definitely not almost there. I didn't trust his feedback after that.

But if you don't have any actual experience with this particular person stringing you along in a dishonest way, don't let stupid things other people have done make you mistrust your PT.

Weird weekend. I tweaked tendons in my knee. It was a malfunction of my prosthesis. So I had a dislocated ankle on one side and a bad knee and a prosthesis on the other. In short, it was very painful to walk. The sleeves to my prosthesis are worn out and so need to be replaced. I'll have them in a week.

Meanwhile, my foot closed, but there is still a tunnel. They had to reopen it to drain. I know ewww! Still, it is only half the size it was last week, so I'm definitely touching the TV again tonight.

I stayed off the knee from Friday or Saturday until today and it feels much better. I'm not pushing it.

Still:

One-Armed Floor Press: 3 x 10 x 35 lb kbell
Overhand Seated Lat Pulldown: 3 x 10 x 60 lb band
Seated Row: 3 x 10 x 60 lb band
Curls: 3 x 10 x 25 lb kbells

By the way, during this time, I got to Jabba the Hut Bull Frog proportions. Last time I weighed I had lost 21 lbs, but I saw myself in a full length mirror and I have a long way to go.

I have cut my intake and exercise what I am allowed to exercise, but I think more intake cutting is in order since I am not able to increase exercise much.
