Nice that you finally found a right match for your wound Greg, I hope to see some real progress now.
I was in Hershey just this summer. Fortunately I don't find their chocolate to be really that good so I did not have a hard time with cheating. It smells yummy there though 'cause they line all the gardens with cocoa chips.

There, that's better.
Congrats on the job and the Ginger!

Had my wound checked and leg wrapped today. Ginger is at a wound conference in San Diego. I told her to have fun but she is a self described nerd so that is doubtful though she was excited about the conference. We swapped stories about the difference between therapy conferences and trial lawyers conferences. Trial lawyer conferences definitely have a lot more drinking, bad behavior and better stories. I have been assured by co-workers that whe will indeed attend every frickin meeting at the conference and have no conventional fun.
Anyway, Lori filled in and old me the wound appears to be healing nicely. My brace was due today, but did not come.
I am busy hunting a second opinion regarding surgery on my ankle.

I have had a lot of pain in my ankle this weekend and today. I had it checked today and nothing is really any moe wrong with it than usual. My new brace should have come in Friday. Hopefully I'll be able to walk better and do the treadmill and a semi-normal workout.

Has your pain & wound become any more manageable? I was just concerned if you would be able to use your new brace (when it comes -- hopefully you've gotten it) with the infection?
Are you being nice to Ginger?

The infection has subsided. I still have a tunnel type injury in my heel that will not heal until I get my new brace. I will probably have to stay off the foot for a bit then as well. I am looking forward to the brace.
As I said before, I am pursuing a second opinion regarding surgery. I saw my foot doctor this week. He kind of confirmed that he hasn't been listening to me. He asked me if I would be open to surgery if the brace doesn't work. I have been telling him I want surgery since he first began treating me.
I am looking at my old workout books: NROL, T Advantage, Home Workout Bible, TNT and the like with something like lust I want to get to a point where I can modify those workouts, sort of Gimpify them, when I can do full workouts again.
Till then:
Today: Crunches: 3 x 15
Reverse Crunches: 3 x 15
Leg lifts: 3 x 12
Kbell Overhead Press: 3 x 12 x 20 lbs
Curls: 3 x 25 x 20
Girly Pushups: 3 x 10

I was feeling down so I tied a little retail therapy. I felt the need for a good dive watch since I obviously am doing a lot of diving so I bought two.
The first was a Seiko Black Monster. It's not as big as it sounds, but it looks pretty cool.
The second was an Oceanaut Acqua One. It is just gorgeous and I decided my psyche needed it.
I got an email from my prospective employers. They are goosing me to get the documents they requested. I am kind of at the mercy of other bureacracies, but I guess this is a good signthat they want me.

That is a great sign on the job!
And retail therapy always works for me. I have used it often to replace my former habit of Ben & Jerry's therapy.

My PT did pat my ass though. It was sort of in the line of duty though. Sigh!
I am waiting on my brace still. It is only about a week late. I have my brace provider's number memorized from calling them. My PT was kind of impressed that I had it memorized when she called to chew them out.
Workout:
Curnches: 3 x 15
Reverse Crunches: 3 x 15
Leg lifts: 3 x 12
One armed bent over rows: 3 x 10 x 35 lb kb.
One Armed Floor Press: 3 x 10 x 35 lb kb.
Overhead Press: 3 x 8 x 25 lb kbs.
Curls: 3 x 12 x 5 lb kbs.
Wish I could do some cardio.
