This could be my favorite exercise. Try it sometime.

Chest/Biceps

A Flat DB Bench: 1X6@90lb DBs 1X6@95 lb DBs 1X6@100 lb DBs; 3X4@110 lb dbs*

B1: Incline DB Bench: 3X8@75lb DBs

B2: Incline Chest Fly: 3X10@40lb Dbs

C: Dips: 4X10@BW**

D: Machine Bench: 1X100@40lbs

E1: Preacher Curl (one-arm on free-type machine): 4X10@25lb

E2: DB Curl: 4X16 (total) @35 lb DBs.

*Wow. I'm surprised I got these 110 pounders. Only used a spotter on the last set too and I got them up fine. I did not think these would go up so "easy" but they did. 120 lb DBs, anyone?

**I used very short rest periods on this exercise (30-45seconds) as I didn't add weight and wanted to make it more challenging.

It should be noted that I used straps.

KABOOM!

Hi fellas. Can't remember what I was doing last year at that time, but finals were over (thanks for the excuse though, Rob). I think I was in the middle of a move back to San Luis Obispo for the summer. Never took more than a week off of training since my last post. Maybe only one straight week total the past year. Other than that I have made it in at least 3x a week consistently.

Since I last posted I finished up the HSS routine and dabbled in a push-pull workout. Currently, I am dieting down to get a somewhat beach bod for my upcoming Australia trip and for the summer months. I was up to ~195lbs. there up until about a month ago and it was the heavist I have been. Not sure what my body fat % was but it was considerable for me. I have lost about 5 lbs as a result of strict training and (somewhat) strict dieting following this program: http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_...ke_home_points

I think where I failed in the past with the diets is throwing the whole thing out of the window if I had one too many cheat days, struggled to find healthy foods while away from home, or had a few bad workouts.

No more.

I realize that as long as I remain consistent as much time as possible I will still make great gains.

I have also incorporated something brand new into my training. SPRINTS! They are hell on earth (as I indicated after the first week on my facebook status). However, I have a somewhat sick fascination with them. They're done quick and require maximum intensity, which are two thumbs up in my cardio book.

The program can be found here (I'm doing the 400m sprints): http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_...ng/running_man

I'll try and update this more regularly for personal goal reasons, thanks for reading and I hope you all are achieving your fitness goals. Judging from some of the logs I have been reading, you are.
