Those are all movements from Magnificent Mobility. She's using them in addition to the TT warm-up to start out a bit more slowly and get her joints warmed up. I love this mobility stuff.

Nice workout, TG. On the weight issue I tend to keep the weights up until I can get through the workouts as written, then increase. But this is one of those six of one/more ways to skin a cat issue so your way works too. It's all in what keeps you going forward.

Let me know if the MM exercises help. I'm thinking of getting it for my wife to deal with arthritis and adhesions and with me for some arthritis although I'm not sure I will be able to do it.

Thanks everyone for the support. Greg, I will let you know how it goes. I'm hoping it will help me deal with my arthritis too.
Today's workout sucked My wrists are hurting pretty bad today and my left hip is F-d. I think I may need to break down and head to the orthopedist. Icing it right now and I'm going to try some exercises I did last year with my PT and see if that helps.
Mobility work
Warm-up (performed as a circuit)
Bodyweight squats (10reps)
3reps of 10sec planks
8 kneeling push-ups
2reps of 10sec per side for side planks
10reps of light db rows
Workout A (performed as supersets)
DB Squat (2x10) 20lb db's
Kneeling pushup (2x10)
DB Split Squat (3x10) 10's (only got through 2reps and had to stop...too much pain in the hip.
Quit the workout here.

TG,
This is an awesome log - quite the journey. In regards to your joints...Can I ask if and how much fish oil (EPA/DHA) you are taking??

Thanks Jenn and Mike for checking in on me.
Mike...I am taking 3 packets of Coromega a day. Do you think I should increase this?

That's only 1.740g of EPA/DHA a day. Joint problems are inflammatory conditions. If I had this type of condition I would take more along the lines of 5g of EPA/DHA a day.
I think that increasing your EPA/DHA consumption may be something that you want to consider.

Any other suggestions for brands? I really like the Coromega for the taste...which means I will actually take it every day. If I don't like what I'm taking, I'll let it slide and miss it some days (that's what I used to do). Is there anything cheaper that tastes decent?

My fish oil caps don't taste like anything. Stop chewing them.

LOL...I don't chew them! As soon as I open the bottle, I get a wiff of fish...and then I taste it when I take them. Needless to say, 1/2 the bottle has been sitting there for about a year now. What kind do you take?

TG,
PM me your address and I'll send you a bottle of OmegaRx for you to take. If you take 1.5 serving (6 caps) of OmegaRx plus your 3 servings of Coromega then you have about 5.3 grams a day.

If it's the smell that gets you, then never mind. Mine do have a faint fishy smell, at times. Not bad.
However, I buy the Costco variety. 400 capsules for $9. I take 15 a day.
I've heard that the enteric coated ones don't have the smell, as the coating traps everything inside. But, I've never smelled them...

I have those same ones from Wal-mart, they smell good
I use NOrdic Naturals, but they're pricey too...although the liquid is cheaper, but I can tell the fishy more.
awesome working out TG!

Thanks for the info guys! Thanks Mike...you are awesome!
Greg...you are gonna give me some motivation today. I'm starting to get a little depressed again. The pain is back pretty severely...the cold weather really seems to affect me (I guess that is what is causing this anyway). But I'm going to do some mobility exercises and range of motion..so I'm not just sitting here...which is how I would have handled this before. Thanks for your inspiration.

Way to go TG. Just move as much as you can and don't give in. Did you make an appt. with your orthopedic?
