Married guys are still aloud to look at pretty girls. Unless they changed the rules on me again. Gawd damned bastards never tell me what's going on!! Soon as I find the "rules" guy, we're going to have a discussion. Cover the childrens ears!

On a side note. My weight is back down to 125lbs and my bf% is down to around 11%. I brought my pictures of my goal to my trainer and thankfully I am just about there. I need to do a little more work on the shoulder caps I think, but everything else is good. So I am happy that the back issues haven't hindered reaching the body composition goals.

Big lifts, I want to spank some pr's. Deads, squats and bench. So first I have to get my numbers up to where were and then slaughter them

That's great Jenn, especially while sick! Bodyweight stuff is probably your best bet while you fight off the cold, and it let's you feel like you're doing something, instead of getting that stiff feeling we usually get from bumming around waiting for the sick to go away.

Congrats on attaining your goals...so nice to hear success stories like this. It's your goal to kick ass on the big lifts that has me nervous!

Wow I have been super bad about posting my workouts. Its been all I can do to even fit them in. I'll try harder to make sure I log them from now on.

Nov. 6 2006

Super sets
Bench press on a stability ball and the smith machine (no one hit me now!)-12/bar weight to get the whole motion thing down; 10/50lbs plus bar for 3 sets
Lat pull down- 10/85lbs; 8/100lbs x 3

Super set 2
clean and press-6/65lbs x4
side lateral raises- 10/10lbs x 4

Superset 3
cable cross over curls-30lbs per cable/12 x 2; cable curls/ 30lbs per cable/12
tricep pulldowns- 50lbs/10 x 4

Superset 4
crunches- 55lbs/10 x 2
reverse crunches- 55lbs/10 x 2

Wow a ton has been going on for me lately. I have to move out of my apartment, its just become far too hard for me to try to make it work on my own. So I have started to pack up the apartment and wow its hard. I am disappointed in myself, I really tried to make it work but after struggling for 3 1/2 years I just can't hold it together anymore. Two kids in school and all the expenses that go with that, plus trying to pay $700 in rent plus bills and food, car insurance etc. I caved finally and am moving to my parents to try to maintain what little I have. I'm frustrated and mad at myself but I think this is the best thing I can do for my kids right now. Once I have steady work with the ministry I will be able to take care of them with out having to struggle or get help from anyone. So depressed a little and very disappointed but at least I had a good workout and the boys were gone for the weekend so they didn't have to see me pack our lives into a bunch of plastic boxes. Tomorrow is another day.

Wow, that's tough to have to move in with the parents. Good luck Jenn and know that it's temporary and will help you get your feet back on the ground. We lived with my in-laws when my children were very small. Every relationship is unique, but I at least have an idea of what you're going through. Sometimes you just do what you have to do.

On the up side, both my kids have a great relationship with their grandparents. They know they are loved and have a second home there. It's not all bad!

Good job on keeping up the workouts, logged or not!

Good workout. Chin up.

BTW, was it you who said you were going to kick my arse if I didn't keep up with my workouts?

Yes Bob I did. I will get out of my funk, I will persist and thankfully workouts seem to take my mind off things. Besides I can't fail too many things all at once, that would be so wrong!! Not the example I want for my kids.

OK, just checking. There's no need yet to get the steel toes ready.

I know you'll be ok. But you are not a failure, my friend.

I know it sucks to have to take a step back. I've done it before. Just keep in mind that you are doing the things you need to do to provide a home for you and your children. Don't forget to do the things you need to do to establish yourself and it will not be too long before you are in that home with your kids.
